At Nik's cottage, Gia and Nik have a cutesy argument about selling Sheba so he would be better able to pay the rent, now that he's cut off from the Cassadine fortune. He reminds her that she's the only one yet to come up with a rent payment. A lawyer/accountant type arrives to tell Nikolas that Stefan left Nik a large sum of money, not part of the estate, so it's free and clear from Helena and that he'll receive monthly deposits into his account.

In the cave, Stefan and Chloe talk about breakfast.

At the hospital, Monica is in a bitch of a mood. She tells Bobbie she's waiting for her pregnancy test results. She thinks that because she hasn't had her period yet, she might be starting menopause.

Juan shows up at the hospital and tells Monica that Alexis took Zander's case and he's afraid she might get Zander off.

At the jail, Alexis tells Zander that she may be able to get the DA to agree to a lesser charge if he agrees to testify against Sorel. He says no way.

At the Quartermaines', Alan tells Lila and Edward about asking Ned to have AJ as his best man. Lila reminds Edward that it's what Ned wants that matters. Edward tells Alan that Ned will come around, he'll make sure of it.

Outside Kelly's, Ned and AJ trade the usual pot-shots at each other. Herbert, the wedding planner (gay, natch), arrives to talk to Ned.

AJ goes inside and spots Roy. He asks if Hannah's joining him…no. AJ makes smalltalk about football, then tells Roy that Hannah's now the owner of her own football team. Roy tells AJ that he can't buy her. AJ tells him that he just bought it to make her laugh, he wants to make her happy. Besides, with Roy's past history with the police, wouldn't he want Hannah to be with AJ rather than Taggert?

Ned tells Herbert that he expects a formal church wedding, several hundred guests, full orchestra, lots of flowers except roses (Alexis hates them), and so on. He also tells Herbert to leak every detail to the media -- he wants it to be the most over-publicized wedding to the point where people will be sick of it.

Zander tells Alexis that he won't testify against Sorel because he'd go after Emily. He won't put her in danger again no matter what happens.

Monica tells Juan she doesn't understand why Alexis would tell her one thing, then go behind her back and defend Zander. Juan says he thinks she's doing it for Emily, because Emily believes Zander deserves a second chance like she got after her drug problem. Monica agrees that Emily needs to be protected and she'll take care of it. Monica phones Alan and tells him it's urgent that they meet at the hospital.

Gia wants to know who the visitor was. Nik tells her it's a family estate attorney giving a progress report on the Helena situation, but doesn't tell her about his newfound inheritance from Stefan. While they get chummy, Helena walks in and says "Well! Obviously I should have knocked first!"

Helena tells Nikolas that they have business to discuss, and regardless of their differences, she wants his input on anything to do with his inheritance. Helena snidely apologizes for interrupting his morning "tryst." Nik asks her to leave. Helena asks Gia if she would excuse them. Gia says there is no excuse, besides, she got there first. Helena says she'll wait until Gia leaves. Nik says she's not going anywhere -- she lives here. Helena looks a bit surprised.

Roy tells AJ that drunks are dangerous, and the longer he continues drinking, the more dangerous it gets for himself and everyone around him. Hannah comes downstairs and reminds AJ that she told him to stay away. Roy tells her AJ just bought her a football team as a token of his affection.

Alan asks rhetorically how Alexis could betray the family this way. Monica says Alexis isn't really the problem, it's Emily. "Why is she so attached to a man she should despise," she asks. Alan thinks it's because Zander is a rebel, and because Emily has always idolized Jason, she's transferring her feelings for Jason onto Zander. Monica replies "Thank you so much, Dr. Freud." Monica says he sounds just like Edward, pointing blame rather than working together to find a solution. Alan says he has a solution -- he'll demand that Alexis drop the case.

Monica looks over a patient's chart and reprimands Bobbie for not giving meds to a patient that should have received them; Bobbie must be distracted about something.

Florence arrives and tells Bobbie she wants to rent an apartment in her brownstone.

Helena tells Nik it's not like him to use a young woman in such a cavalier way. She insists that he's taking advantage of someone less fortunate for his own purposes. She urges Nik to reconsider before Ms. Campbell is hurt in this arrangement, then leaves. Nik reiterates to Gia how much he hates dealing with Helena, and the only way to do so is to stand up to her. He jokingly asks if she feels used, and she says that she thought she was the one taking advantage of him. They laugh.

One of Stefan's flunkies finds Stefan in the cave to tell him that the bank transfer went through and that Helena did cut off Nik's access to the family money. Chloe comes back from picking berries, so Stefan punches the flunkie and tells him never to threaten him or Ms. Morgan and to get out. Stefan and the flunkie continue to struggle and pretend-fight while Chloe watches.

AJ tells Hannah she's the new owner of the Cougars. Roy leaves. Hannah tells AJ she can't be the owner. AJ tries to convince her that she can have it if she wants it.

Alexis arrives at Kelly's to talk to Herbert. He tells her that he knows from Ned what she wants -- a tasteful, public event.

Edward walks into the Q living room and sees Amanda Barrington waiting for him. He tries to back out without beeing seen (LOL!!), but too late. She disapprovingly wants to know more about Ned's fiance, that Internet pin-up icon, Eddie's Angel. Ned walks in and tells Amanda he's surprised that she frequents those kinds of web sites. Amanda offers her congratulations, rather insincerely. Edward tells Amanda that Ned has included AJ in the wedding, which is a surprise to Ned of course. Amanda offers more pleasantries, then leaves.

Ned wants to know where Edward got the insane idea that he'd have AJ as his best man. Alan, of course. Edward pleads with him; imagine the happiness on Lila's face seeing Ned and AJ together at the head of the aisle. Lila wheels in, telling Edward to stop his emotional blackmail at once.

Monica visits Zander. She goes over the list of bad things he's done to Emily. He tells her he never wanted Emily to come here in the first place. She tells Zander that whatever game he's playing, it's OVER. He tells her she doesn't have a clue about what he's feeling, or what Emily's feeling about anything.

Back in the cave, Chloe jumps on the flunky who's choking Stefan. Flunky #2 comes in and the fight breaks up. The flunkies leave. Chloe decides that since the guards know where they are, there's no point in hiding out in the cave anymore. [OK, in the grand scheme of this story, what WAS the point of this cave hideout other than another way to drag the story out another couple weeks?]

At the hospital, Helena steps off the elevator and spots Florence. She introduces herself and tells her that she's Nikolas' grandmother. Florence tells her what a fine young man Nikolas is, and she's glad he and Gia are friends. Helena tells her she's concerned about Gia.

Monica tells Zander she's not sure if he killed that undercover cop or not, but even if he's not convicted of murder, he's still going to prison for a very long time on other charges. She tells him she doesn't care what happens to him, she's only there because she wants to protect her daughter. He tells Monica she doesn't understand Emily, and that he does. He tells her that he and Emily understand each other. She tells him that prison is his future; don't make it Emily's as well.

Bobbie tells Roy she's concerned that she's made two medication mistakes in the last two weeks. Roy reassures her that she's been under a lot of stress lately and it's bound to catch up with her.

Helena asks Florence if she's aware that Gia and Nikolas are living together. Florence tells her that Gia is renting a cottage from Nik, but they're not living together. Helena tells her that Gia is covering for Nik, and that he can be quite charming and convincing when he's after something, or someone. She continues that his previous gaurdian was very permissive, and now that she's the trustee, she's setting some boundaries that he's not used to and he's behaving rebelliously, acting out in every way that he can. She tells Florence that she doesn't want to see Gia get hurt by Nikolas who is using her to assert his independence from his grandmother. Florence thanks her and tells her she'll speak to Gia.

Nik and Gia arrive at Kelly's. Gia's concerned that Helena will track down her mother, but it's improbable because they don't travel in the same circles.

AJ tells Hannah that if the gift makes her so uncomfortable, he can take it back. She agrees to season tickets instead, as long as there are no strings attached.

More silly banter about the wedding plans between Alexis and Herbert.

Edward tries some more to convince Ned to let AJ be his best man. Ned tells Edward & Lila that he guesses it wouldn't kill him to ask AJ to be a groomsman, since Jax may not be back in time for the wedding.
