General Hospital Update for Thursday, 26-Oct-2000

Dara tries to pursuade Zander to turn on Cerell, but Zander refuses. Outside holding cell Alexis wants to talk to Dara about dropping the fleeing charges against Luke but Dara paractically dares Alexis to represent Zander because she thinks it is an open and shut case. Alexis visits Zander and he tells her to keep Emily away from him so she doesn't get hurt. Alexis says Emily is a good judge of people and now she is trying to figure out if Zander is the scared, screwed up kid or a liar.

Em and Liz argue over Zander. Em defends Zander and Liz tells her that Zander is a drug dealer who gave lots of girls drugs including Liz.

Lucky and Liz discuss Em defending Zander. They don't seem to understand how she could believe Zander didn't kill Ted. Lucky thinks that maybe Juan can get through to Emily. They call Juan and fill him in on what Emily is doing. Juan won't believe that Emily might have any feelings for Zander, he thinks Zander must have threatened her in some way.

Gia moves in with Nick. More flirting between the two. Em walks into the house and sees Gia taking her suitcases upstairs. They both lie and tell Em that Nick is just storing some of Gia's things until she gets a dorm room at PCU. Gia leaves and Em asks Nick if she can borrow some money to hire an attorney for Zander. Nick tells her that he can't because he doesn't have any money but maybe Em is a little too close to the situation.

Emily goes to see Zander, he tells her she shouldn't be there. He tells her that Alexis came to see him. But she should stay away. She tells Zander that he is a good person and should tell the police about Cerell and cut a deal. Juan shows up to see Zander and sees Emily and Zander holding hands.


Gia meets with her mother and tells her that she rented the house and is looking for a job and enrolling at PCU so mom can go back to Brooklyn now. But of course Mom says she sees what her and Taggart see in Port Charles and she is thinking of staying herself. Gia doen'st like it.


A.J. rents Kelly's for a few hours for a party for Hannah's birthday. (Tammy supposedly hates A.J. why would she do that?)Hanah tells A.J. that she and Taggart have plans for the day. A.J. promises that he won't do anything to spoil Hannah's day. But who should walk up to the window at Kelly's and see them having a laughing time? Taggart. He comes in and starts to leave with Hannah to go to the football game but Taggart gets a phone call and has to go on a stake out. Hannah agrees to go with him.

Laura and Scotty have coffee together and Laura goes on about needing a job. Scotty offers to sell Laura Deception, His and Lucy's old cosmetic company that Catherine Bell used to run. Scotty offers to lend her the money to buy Deception but Laura declines.

Laura calls Edward to have a meeting about lending her money for Deception.

Bobby walks in on Luke packing and wants to know what's up. Luke of course doesn't tell her anything. Bobby asks Luke not to give Carly a job if she asks for one. Roy shows up and Bobby asks him why Luke is going out of town. Luke tells her that Roy isn't involved with whatever he is doing.

Later on the docks Helena stops Lucky and tells him that she is really disapointed her. Lucky tells Helena that she is pathetic and the whole thing is over because he knows she hired Faison to kidnap him to get back at his parents. He turns to walk away and she says...Always protect your Queen.

At Nick's house, Nick is turning out the lights and someone grabs him from behind and puts a cloth over his mouth and it is ......Luke.
