Greetings, GH fans….this is my second post and WOW! What a Monday. That’s the great thing about soaps….Mondays after good Fridays…..

First things first…Xander and Jason stare each other down and Emily breaks free and throws herself in front of Xander (What an idiot.) She convinces Xander that Jason won’t hurt him and he should make like a Chihuahua and head for the border. He does and just misses the arriving police. Emily manages to convince everyone to go along with her pathetic lie to the police that she just happened to find the Canadian border and her friends were there because….well they really didn’t give a credible explanation, but cops on soaps are just plain dumb…..

Speaking of which….Commissioner Scorpio is humiliated in public after Mrs. Scorpio—excuse me Scorpio-Jones testifies that she was with Luke the night Stefan disappears. Dara, trying to make her case, rips into Felicia and gets her to elaborate and explain that she and Luke actually sex, right before Mac’s unbelieving eyes. Dara does do a little damage by insinuating that Felicia is lying for her lover, but Scott counters by pointing out that Felicia stands to lose her newly reconciled marriage and her children by stepping forward. I don’t know about you, but I think Scott’s a little psychic.

Before Emily and Jason leave Lucky and Liz. Lucky asks for a few minutes with Emily and he apologizes for not calling the police or letting her tell Jason what was going on sooner. He shoulders all the blames for the entire kidnapping. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Emily has got to be the most annoying character on this show. Everyone seems to forget that she managed to get herself into this mess and proceeding to screw up a pretty improbably, but successful plan, by not staying at home. If Emily had not gone to the rave, Xander would have been arrested with Ted’s body in his car. Lucky’s ridiculous plan actually worked and it worked well. Emily should apologize for being a little twit , but instead everyone will now baby her. Next we'll have to and now to deal with her feelings for her kidnapper. Gag me, please gag me now. Please

Finally, almost the moment Sonny and Carly fans have been waiting for. After absorbing Sonny’s bombshell Carly becomes very hurt and offended. She demands to know why Sonny made love to her. He also has questions, but he actually answers, telling her that he wants her. She assumes he means only sexually gets Johnny to take them back to the penthouse. Upon arrival, she rushes up the stairs announcing that she and Michael are leaving. Sonny shouts out, "Stay or leave. It’s your choice." That statement stops her dead in her tracks. She whips around and demands to know what Sonny wants. He tells her he wants her to stay with him, "Where you belong." It’s crunch time, Carly demands that Sonny acknowledge feelings for her and for her alone. He does…..and the violins play. It was actually very sweet, sincere and very much Carly and Sonny. Of course they don’t say, "I love you." We have to continue to watch something. Alas their happiness is short lived, before they can continue their honeymoon, Benny arrives and Sonny has to leave for "business"

Emily is returned to the Quartermaines (Alan, Monica, Ned, Edward and Lila) as they stand vigil outside AJ’s room. I don’t think you’re allowed to hang around de-tox, but what they hey. Emily and Jason show up and everyone ecstatic. Alan and Monica fill Emily in on AJ’s condition, but assure her that all he needs is to know that she’s safe. Emily asks Jason to come with her into the room and AJ’s thrilled. Emily takes both their hands and proclaims, "I have the best brothers in the world" Yeah Yeah Yeah.

There are a variety of reactions to Felicia’s confession: Laura leaves the room in tears. She ends up on a bar, drinking Scotch on the rocks (Luke’s drink) toasting her "husband and his alibi…may they be happy together. I think Stefan could actually make time with Laura if he chooses to show himself in the next few weeks. Luke is torn: he’s grateful for Felicia help, but sorry at the great cost to her. Bobbie says, "I don’t think Thank you is enough. If it’s any help to you, my brother will be a free man."

Are these people nuts? Laura’s reaction was the most realistic. Bobbie and Luke should both be saying, "What took you so long?" Felicia could have avoided this entire mess if she was honest. And don’t give me that crap about losing her children. If she gave darn about those kids, she would not have spent months out of the country with another man! She lied, she screwed around and now everyone pays the price. She had ample opportunity to tell Mac the truth, and she should have avoided humiliating the man in public! Testifying at the trial! I don’t think so. Why not give a statement before the trial even began? Hence avoiding humiliating her husband. Thus negating the need for a trial. If they is a writer with a sense of humor and mean streak, they’ll convict Luke anyway and let Stefan’s homecoming free him from murder charges. By the way the final scene of the show was Mac’s demand for an explanation from Felicia…Stay tuned.
