General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Oct-2000

SONNY AND CARLY:

Opening scene is Carly (Sarah Brown) coming into the Penthouse to flirt her head off with Sonny, in hopes of keeping the marriage. She has two dresses she picked from the store for their date and asks Sonny his opinion. He is distant and kind of a jerk while enjoying her efforts. Slipping out as they're getting warmer, he says they're still on for their date tonight.

LUCKY AND LIZ:

Waiting for Emily and Zander, Lucky and Liz lie on the beautiful ground, Liz teases Lucky about how in the hell he could camp like this all the time with his parents. Liz, loving Lucky but knowing there is no reason for him to hate his parents, asks questions about camping memories so that Lucky will remember the good times, hence, the REAL times! Elizabeth is precious and quirky and Lucky is GORGEOUS! Eat him with a SPOON! Anyway, Liz tells her camping stories about how much she HATED them, they flirt and as soon as they begin getting closer, Lucky points out that someone should go back into town and check the status for Emily and the other should wait in case she does show up. Lucky leaves Liz there, after tender I love yous...

MAC:

Mac is working on the Emily Quartermaine case, therefore once again missing Felicia's desperate messages!

FELICIA AND BOBBIE:

Felicia is losing it that she can't reach Mac (Poor Felicia ain't looking too good today, hope Kristina just had a bad night's sleep) and Bobbie comes in, attempting to support Felicia but even Bobbie knows this probably will be the end to Mac and Felicia. Felicia reminds Bobbie that it's BJ's birthday and Bobbie is amazed Felicia remembers that. They remember the pain of that time, and how Bobbie and Tony's marriage crumbled. Felicia knows hers will now too and says she'd give anything to tell Mac in person instead of confess to a bunch of strangers that she was unfaithful and that this whole trial could've been avoided.

SCOTTY AND LUKE:

MAN THESE TWO ARE HILARIOUS! TONY AND KIN MAKE ME LAUGH! Amazing that Luke has the most chemistry with Laura's other men. Luke and Stefan and Luke and Scotty are HILARIOUS! Luke tells Scotty NOT to put Felicia on the stand under any circumstances. Scotty tells Luke that it is standard procedure to try to get your client acquitted and Luke reminds Scott that if he does this Felicia's life will be blown to hell! Scott goads Luke about how amazing it is that NOW he's concerned about Felicia's marriage but obviously wasn't about his and Laura's. (Well Scott, Luke loved Laura, Luke only has the momentary hots for Felicia, so she can stay married and it won't bug him as much, now will it) Scott tells Luke that it's amazing that every time he seduces a woman a way from her husband, a husband who LOVES her, that these women will throw their lives away to protect him and he's not worth it! Scott tells Luke that he didn't kill Stefan Cassadine because he was locked up in a cheap hotel room with Felicia all night in bed! Scott leaves.

CARLY AND ALEXIS:

Alexis calls Carly and tells her that the charges against Sonny have been dropped and that there's no reason they have to stay married any longer. Carly asks Alexis if she's sure, if they should play it safe, if they should wait, and when Alexis assures Carly that she's free, Carly flips out and realizes she has to seduce Sonny TONIGHT!

ELIZABETH AND JASON:

Elizabeth, waiting for Emily and Zander sees Jason and is of course happy. He tells her it's dangerous and that if Zander sees her and Lucky and Zander knows that the cops and Zorelle's men are after him he's gonna flip out and do something terrible. Jason got rid of Zorelle's men but Zander doesn't know this. Elizabeth tells Jason she knows he is completely right but after her rape Lucky never doubted her and Elizabeth cannot doubt him now that they know Helena and Faison did something to Lucky's head. (Like...hate his parents?) Jason eventually gives in, understands and respects Liz, reminds her to be careful. Lucky comes in, tells Jason he's not leaving, and Jason tells Lucky that if he feels guilty for Emily, wait till Zander loses it and shoots Elizabeth. "Get Elizabeth out of here," Jason warns.

ROY AND LUKE:

Luke tells Roy to find Felicia and stop her from testifying.

FELICIA AND SCOTTY:

Felicia is whimpering in the empty courtroom when Scotty comes in and they begin to go over the testimony.

BOBBIE AND LAURA: (GENIE'S BACK, YES!!!)

Bobbie sees Laura and she immediately dashes over to her, grabbing Laura's hands in support. Bobbie doesn't want Laura to know about Felicia testifying to spare Laura pain. Laura says she just got back and that she's here to support Luke, despite their estranged and probably ending marriage she will still be there for the father of her children. (Some of them, anyway) Laura wonders why no one bothered to tell Laura that her husband was back, standing trial for Stefan's murder.

(I find it fascinating, Stefan and Laura's recreating love, Stefan has now magically kidnapped another blonde and they are together on an island, recreating all the same steps he and Laura did.)

SONNY AND CARLY:

Carly is arranging for the dinner to be as romantic as possible when Sonny comes in, says they're still on, but that he has to go to court to check on Luke. Carly frantically tells him NO! She is afraid he will find out they don't have to be married any longer. They argue humorously, GOD I LOVE SONNY, Carly has no choice and says FINE, she'll go and visit Luke with Sonny. "You hate Luke!" "He's my uncle!" "You hate him!" "I don't want to see him spend the rest of his life behind bars!" They storm out as she's in her purple sexy dress! "You're gonna go like that?" Carly turns and gets a small sweater. "No," she grabs the sweater, doesn't put it on, and they leave. LOL!

LUCKY, LIZ, AND JASON:

Lucky gives Jason a waterbottle he just bought in town, they discuss Lucky and Liz staying and Lucky makes a good speech and they all pretty much give in, they all stay to help Emily.

LUKE AND ROY:

Roy tells Luke it wouldn't be a good idea to go to Felicia now and tell her to drop the whole thing at the last minute, that will only make it harder for Felicia. "You would prefer she get on the stand and destroy her life?" Luke points out. Roy sits down and tells Luke that this is the right thing to do, and he's not going to stop Felicia because it's the only way Luke will be free. Luke argues a hell of a lot more, Roy argues back, obviously right though Luke has a SMALL point that maybe the jury would only think Felicia's lying to protect him and it wouldn't do a damn bit of good. IT'S TIME FOR COURT! Roy doesn't tell Felicia anything.

SCOTTY AND FELICIA:

Going over the testimony, Scott is very good to Felicia, as Felicia begins to unravel and lose it, but refuses of course to not testify for Luke.

BOBBIE AND LAURA:

"So, lemme take a wild guess, Luke ordered you and Scotty and Roy and what...EVERYBODY not to tell me he'd been captured and that there was a trial?" Laura says. Bobbie smiles at how precise Laura is and how ridiculous it must feel to Laura to have everyone protect her. "Uh huh, because Luke wanted to spare you." Laura rolls her eyes. "Well at least he's consistent. If it was always done Luke's way I wouldn't know anything that happened to anyone in my family until TEN years after it happened!" LOL! So true Laura. Bobbie tells Laura that she had BEGGED Luke to let her tell Laura because Luke needs all the support he can get. Bobbie looks at Laura with sympathy and tells her she needs to talk to Luke. Laura gets very uncomfortable and doesn't particularly want to talk to Luke, they haven't been on the best of terms. "Why," she says slowly. Bobbie gives her a face of "Do it." Laura laughs sadly and tells Bobbie that he is still techniquely her husband, the father of her children. "...I still love him Bobbie...you know I WANT to be here, to support him." Bobbie feels pain for Laura, her heart will be crushed too. "Well, then before court starts than you need to talk to him." Laura gets uncomfortable again. "Why...what's going on?" "You need to hear that from him." Laura agrees and goes to find Luke, Bobbie watches her sister in law walk away and wishes she could help.

SONNY AND CARLY:

Have wild sex in the back of his limo...

THE TRIAL BEGINS:

BOBBIE AND ROY:

Bobbie asks Roy if he saw Laura, Roy is surprised that Laura's back but is glad. Bobbie says it is a good thing Laura is here to support Luke but that Laura doesn't know about Felicia and could storm out of the room. (Bobbie, we all know how jealous you've always been around Laura, but have faith) Roy defends Laura and points out that she wouldn't do that.

Luke comes out, winks at Bobbie, and Bobbie prays Laura spoke to him first. Scott calls Felicia to the stand and as Felicia comes out, terrified, Luke shakes his head telling her not to do it. As Felicia is reading her rights, Laura comes in the courtroom, OBVIOUSLY not have spoken to Luke.

LUKE AND LAURA!

Laura sits down quietly behind Luke and taps him on the shoulder. Turning around and seeing her face, Luke has a huge grin of happiness, grabs her hand and kisses it for dear life. She smiles back sadly, but at least Luke had the decency to express his happiness to see his Angel.

After Luke sees Laura he grips Scott and begs him not to ask Felicia about the affair. "Ask her about my character or something but just get her off the stand!" Scott shakes free of Luke's grip, "Aw your character STINKS!" LOL!

EMILY, ZANDER, LUCKY, LIZ, JASON:

Lucky, Liz, and Jason come up with a plan. Emily and Zander come around, Jason sneaks up behind them, puts a gun on Zander as Lucky grabs Emily to drag her to safety. Emily screams at Jason to put down the gun and that he doesn't understand! NO ONE HAS TO GET HURT, she screams. Elizabeth comes around to her best friend and holds her as Emily is frantic for no one to shoot! Jason being a prince tells Zander he's at the border, step across and he's free, all Jason wanted was his sister. Emily tells Zander he can trust her and to go! Zander hears sirens and assumes Jason called the cops and flips about to shoot...

TRIAL:

Scott asks Felicia what Luke's relationship was with Stefan Cassadine. (Well, he slept with his wife, was a much better man than Luke for quite some time, stood by Laura when Luke acted like a jerk...stole Luke's angel...you tell us) Felicia says, "Not friendly, but I am confident Luke would never harm Stefan." Oh my God, Felicia, HIT ME AGAIN! LOL! Felicia says she is sure Luke did not kill Stefan, just as Mac walks in. Laura is confused, Mac is stunned. Felicia sees Mac's face and begins to flip as Scott asks her how she is sure.

"Because Luke was with me...all night," Felicia says.

Laura says silently, "Ohhhhhh." Of course Luke would! Mac gets tears in his eyes and Laura is of course upset, but not as surprised. How could she be?
