General Hospital Update for Friday, 29-Sep-2000

Taggart told Hannah that he is tired of pretending that her involvement with A.J. doesn't bother him. Hannah has to decide who she wants to be with. Hannah says of course there is no choice she wants to be with Taggart but she just feels sorry for A.J. She leaves to go look for A.J. and tell him that their friendship has to end. Meanwhile A.J. is in his hotel room drinking shots. Hannah comes by knocks and there is no answer so she leaves.Later she comes back and pulls a master key from her purse and lets herself into A.J.'s suite (do all FBI agents have master keys to hotel rooms?) She tries to wake A.J. up but to no avail and calls 911.


Jason tells Carly that she is pushing Sonny too hard and to give him space. They hug (while Sonny is watching) and Jason walks her out. When he comes back inside Sonny is sitting waiting for him. They discuss Carly. Jason says that Carly is just the way she is but that Sonny is better off with her. He also tells him that when two people are in love they find a way to make things work. Sonny says they are not in love and Jason says yeah well whatever you call it. Jason leaves to check out a tip on Emily.

Carly goes home where Bobby is waiting. She tells Bobby that she is glad their relationship is going along alot better. Bobbby doesn't know how to react to this until Carly tells her about Mike's fight with Sonny. Carly tells Bobby that she had a talk with Jason and he made her realize that she is pushing Sonny and needs to back off and give Sonny time. She also adimitted that she was in love with Sonny, and wanted her marriage to work. Later Sonny comes homes and tells Carly that he made a decision....Their marriage won't work and he is giving her her freedom.


As per Mac's request Felicia went to see Luke. They reminisce a little and Felicia asks Luke if he wants her to tell the police where Luke was the night that Stefan went missing. Luke says that she shouldn't risk her new beginning with Mac and that Scotty will be able to get him off with reasonable doubt. Felicia tells him that if he changes his mind she will testify for him. Later back at Kelly's Mac wants to know how her visit with Luke went....(Tune in tomorrow)

Liz and Lucky come back to the hotel room in Albany from a rave. No luck getting any information on Zander. Lucky tells Liz that he was having a hard time concentrating on what they were doing because he wanted to dance with Liz. She fiddles with the radio until a slow song comes on. They dance and all of a sudden Lucky says you should be with Nicholas. Lucky admits that he doesn't want Liz with Nicholas and he doesn't know where that came from. They both think that somehow Helena put the idea into Lucky's head to make Nicholas happy. Liz tells Lucky that Nicholas knows that she loves Lucky then Lucky tells her that He loves her too. Liz is shocked that Lucky finally admitted he loves her. Now they have to figure out why Lucky keeps blanking out and trying to push Liz and Nick together.

Zander and Em are driving and are getting chummier. Zander leaves Emily alone to go get something to eat. He tells Em that he trusts her not to leave. She drives off. When he gets back she is not there and he starts to get angry. When she returns he yells at her but she explained that just sitting in a parked car is what got the cops to stop last time and she was just driving around until he got back with the burgers. They talk and Emily tries to talk him into going to the police because he is just a good person who made a few bad choices. He asks Emily if they had met without the raves and kidnapping did she think they might have had a chance......Heart and Soul starts to play on the radio. Emily gets all excited and says that her and her boyfriend wrote that song. Zander looks crestfallen.

Jason finds Emily's hat that fell off the back of the car at the last place they stopped.

Taggart asks Juan if Emily and Zander knew each other before all of this happened. The police officer who stopped them the day their car broke down told Taggart that the two people he stopped matched Emily and Zander's description but the girl said the boy was her boyfriend and didn't seem to be afraid or under any stress. Juan said that it couldn't be Emily.
