General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 27-Sep-2000

Mac meets with Luke to find out if he has a lawyer yet. He offers to find him one, but Luke says he wouldn’t give Mac the satisfaction of picking his lawyer, he would rather represent himself. Mac gives him until the end of the day. Meanwhile Felicia meets with Scott to try to convince him to be Luke’s lawyer. Later on Mac and Felicia meet for lunch and civilly tell each other that they tried to find Luke a lawyer, then they enjoy a Luke free lunch. Meanwhile Alexis meets with Scott and Luke in order to convince the two that they need each other. She finally succeeds in convincing Luke to hire Scott.

Juan meets with Ned to ask him to move up the date of Heart and Souls release. Ned warns him that because they are doing it without any promotion it might be a flop, but Juan thinks it is worth the risk. Before Juan arrived Ned was making plans for when he proposes to Alexis. I thought they were already engaged…

Jason brings Emily’s letter to the Quartermaines. The family is grateful that Jason is looking for Emily. AJ can’t handle the fact that Jason is getting even more glory. He starts to drink yet again. Jason convinces Edward that Emily is probably ok and that he will do everything he can to get her home safely.

Emily and Xander break down. They need a radiator hose so Xander walks back to the nearest gas station to get one, leaving Emily all by herself with car. A cop stops to help them but Emily covers. Xander is grateful to her for covering for him. Is it wrong that I like those two together???

Bobbie goes over to Roys to find out why he never returned her phone call. He tells her about the kid in prison who died and she comforts him. She tells him he deserves his chance at a second life just like that kid did, so he should take advantage of it.
