General Hospital Update for Thursday, 21-Sep-2000

Monica tells Dr. Townsend's nurse that she is discontinuing her fertility treatments for the time being (while Emily is kidnapped) Edward shockingly tells her that it is a mistake. Later Edward tells Lila that Monica should do anything that will help her take her mind off Emily.

Bobby visits Luke. Alexis tells Dara (in front of Bobby) that Sonny and Carly were married so they won't be taking a deposition from Carly. Dara asks a somewhat shocked Bobby if she would sign an affidavit that the marriage is a fraud when obviously the mother of the bride is so stunned. Bobby recovers quickly and says she is just surprised that they didn't have a church wedding like they had planned, and didn't Dara have better things to do like looking for Emily.

Roy asks Lucky to visit Luke but of course he refuses. Roy visits Luke and disables 2 listening devices the police have planted in the interogation room. When Dare realizes they can't hear the conversation she ends Roy's visit.

Liz asks Tammy for time off to go to Albany with Lucky to help look for Emily. Carly comes in and tries to rub in Liz's face that she and Sonny got married but it is Carly who gets it when Liz says that Jason already told her. A catty argument ensues. Mike comes in and Carly tells him about the marriage. Carly tells him to go ahead and take his best shot, but Mike surprises her when he says that Carly seems to make Sonny happy. Later Bobby comes into Kelly's. Carly asks her if she thinks Sonny might care for her. Bobby points out that Sonny has changed his life for her and he could have easily left town if he wanted to, they are just both too stubborn and afraid of being hurt again to admit their feelings.


Maxie is upset that Luke is back in town. She thinks Felicia will leave again with Luke. Felicia tells her that Luke can do what he wants but she is staying with the girls. Felicia tells Maxie that she is still in love with Mac.


Nicholas gives Lucky money and tells him to be careful with Liz on their trip. Helena overhears and wants to know where Liz and Lucky are going and why Nicholas isn't going with them. Nick tries to tell her to bug off but she warns that there will be no more money unless he tells her what is going on. Lucky tells her then leaves. Nicholas tears into Helena telling her not to ever hold the Cassidine money over his head again.

Liz and Lucky start to leave but run into Helena on the docks. Liz stays back while Lucky talks to Helena alone. Lucky tells Helena that her opinion doesn't matter and starts to walk away when she says "protect your queen" Lucky becomes docile while Liz watches.

A guard tells Stefan that Chloe found the dock and tried to swim out. Chloe tells Stefan that they should try to sneak on board the supply boat next time it comes. Chloe takes a nap (she sleeps all the time) and sees a conversation between Helena and Lucky.


Edward shows Ned a newspaper with Alexis as Eddie's Angel on the front page of the business section. Lila says Alexis should be admired for having it all but Edward is appalled(what else).
Ned shows Alexis the newspaper and she is not happy. Ned tells her he has a solution to this problem.......The phone rings and Alexis has to go to the PCPD to see Luke. Dara tells Alexis and Luke that the judge has been banned Alexis as Luke's lawyer because of a conflict of interest.
