General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 20-Sep-2000

Lucky and Nicholas want to bring Elizabeth to Albany, where they have a lead on Xander. They feel she will get more information than they can. Elizabeth talks to Jason about what is going on. He tells her that he thinks Emily and Xander are headed for the border. He also tells her that Sonny and Carly got married. He tells her why they had to get married. Elizabeth asks if it bothers Jason, but he tells her no. So they change the subject to her and Lucky. Nicholas and Lucky show up and see Jason and Elizabeth talking. Lucky confronts Elizabeth about telling Jason about the Emily mess. They compare notes about where Xander is. Hannah comes to tell Jason about AJ and asks him to stop him. Elizabeth convinces him to help AJ. Lucky is still mad at Jason. Bobbie speaks to Lucky about Luke. But Lucky makes her tell him in front of Nicholas. She tells him that Luke is in custody and that Luke would love it if he would visit. But Lucky says no, he is too much like his father, he doesn’t want to see him. Elizabeth tries to convince him that he is nothing like his father. So they make plans for the Albany trip. Nicholas tries to convince them they need to reconsider this trip. Nicholas says he will stay home so he can keep track of what is going on with everyone and keep going to the raves. So Elizabeth and Lucky go off to Albany together. Elizabeth sees right through the plan. She knows he is staying behind to give them a chance to be together alone.

Ned and Alexis discuss how Eddie’s Angel affects her future. She has an apartment full of flowers. Plus loads of emails and offers to pose for magazines. Ned is upset she hasn’t told him about all of this. She says she hasn’t wanted to bother him, she knows he is worried about Emily. Alexis gets the message from Bobbies asking her to be Luke’s lawyer. Alexis is just glad someone doesn’t think she is bad lawyer because of all of this publicity. Alexis goes to see Luke. They agree to work together. Alexis knows Luke didn’t do it, and he accepts she is a pin up girl. Luke finds her pinup status as being very funny


Monica is worried about Emily. Edward tries to convince her that getting pregnant is silly. They should be focused on Emily. Monica wants to work together instead of blaming each other. Lila is on her side. Ned comes over. There is no news. They sit around blaming everyone. Edward tries to convince Ned to use Eddie Maine to get publicity to help find Emily. But they tell him no. Lila tells Ned a story about a couple she knew who had gone through a similar situation. She says the solution was they got married. Ned gets an idea.

AJ is in his hotel room preparing for a meeting with Sorrel. He doesn’t even want his drink. Hannah is told that AJ is trying to find Emily and he may be in trouble. She heads over to AJ’s to try dissuade him from going to meet Sorrel. She finds a brief case full of money. She tells him she knows that he has a meeting with Sorrel. He is going to buy information from him. AJ won’t listen to her reasons why he shouldn’t go and he runs off. AJ goes to Jason to get him to stop AJ. Jason finds AJ and convinces him to not see Sorrel.

Bobbie visits Luke. She tells him that she is trying to get Alexis to be his lawyer. Then she goes to visit Felicia. They discuss the progress of Felicia’s marriage. Felicia asks how Luke is. They discuss his chances of getting off. Felicia alludes to knowing something that can help. Mac meets with Luke. Sparks fly. Luke accuses Mac of fabricating evidence. Mac denies it, saying the evidence is there. He tells him he’s going to jail. Felicia goes to the police station to give him his beeper, supposedly anyway, but she ends up where Luke is. Mac runs into her, and says he expected her to show up. But when she gives him his beeper, he apologizes for jumping to the wrong conclusion and they leave together much to Luke’s dismay.
