General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 12-Sep-2000

Hannah and A.J. are at Kelly's. A.J. apologizes to Hannah for going off on her the other day when she called Monica to pick him up. A.J. gives Hannah tickets to the Bahamas. She turns them down and insists that she is with Taggart. Hannah gets a call and has to leave to tell the Q's about Emily being kidnapped. When she tells A.J. there is a problem with his family he assumes someone killed Jason. He truly seems upset and tries to rush off to make sure someone is with Lila. (Hmmmmm that's telling)

Carly freaks on Dara about Jason being arrested. Sonny tells Jason that he will put his men on Cerell in case Zander shows up there. Sonny sets up a meeting with Cerell and Carly doesn't want him to go.

Taggart convinces Dara to hold Jason for 48hours so he won't interfere with the investigation for Emily. Taggart also asks Dara not to prosecute the kids for their part in Ted's body moving.

Juan, Lucky, and Nick (with Gia hiding in the bushes) tell Taggart about getting a girl (they don't know her name they paid her $50)to distract Zander while Juan stole his keys. Taggart yells at them and tells them all of the things they could be charged with, he tells them to go home and let the police handle things. They agree amongst themselves. Lucky, however, asks around to see if anyone knows where Zander lives. Lucky goes to PCPD to see Jason. Lucky asks Jason to tell him where he might find Emily and Jason tells him to leave it alone, he doesn't know what he is doing and it is his fault Emily is in this trouble anyway.

Zander takes Emily to a cabin. Emily acusses Zander of drugging her and putting her in bed with dead Ted. Zander tells Em that Cerell's men killed Ted not him. Zander's story is while selling drugs at the raves he met Ted. He said that Ted didn't seem right to him so he went to tell Cerell. Cerell wanted Zander to follow Ted. When Ted left with Emily he followed them to the motel and called Cerell to let him know where they were. Cerell's men also wanted to O.D. Emily but Zander talked them out of it. Now Zander wants to know where Ted has been all this time. Ted thinks Cerell put Ted's body in his trunk to frame him. Emily comes clean with all that happened and tries to convince Zander to turn himself in and testify against Cerell. Zander is rather upset and ties Emily up because he needs a hostage to escape because not only are the cops after him but Cerell will be after him to keep him away from the police.
