General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 6-Sep-2000

Roy has found Luke selling watches on the street in a not so great disguise. Luke won’t drop the act until Roy convinces him not only did the club burn down, but all of his record collection has been destroyed. Of course that is not true. They discuss what is going on back home. Roy tells Luke about the missing cop and the evidence that is piling up against Luke in the Stefan case. Luke decides he needs to go back to Port Charles. He needs Roy’s help to do it.

Jake calls Hannah and asks her to come pick up a passed out AJ. Hannah had plans with Taggart, but Taggart gets upset and tells Hannah he won’t play second to AJ. Hannah goes and gets AJ and brings him back to Kelley’s where she demands that he tell her what has him so upset. She apparently also called Monica because she also shows up. AJ gets upset and storms out. Monica and Hannah discuss how worried they are about AJ.

Mac has a flash back of him and Felicia. Then he runs into an upset Taggart. They discuss how Luke is missing again and that Mac is on his way to Colorado. They discuss how hard it is having women in their lives who are obsessed with another man. Mac has no advice for Taggart. They head back to the office and Taggart says he has some ideas on the Missing Cop case.

Ned tells Alexis the press is on its way to interview him about Eddie’s Angel. Hopefully this will clear everything up and put a stop to this craze. Gia shows up, but Nicholas tells her it isn’t a good time to ask for a job. They leave. Alexis waits in the hall while Ned tells the reporter that they want their privacy. When the press leaves, Alexis comes out and they start going at it. However the reporter comes back and gets them on tape. Ned demands the tape and Alexis is outraged. The reporter gives it back…a little too willingly though...I wonder if he has another one.

Alan and Monica are yet again all over each other(as always…GROSS!!!!) Edward is still trying to get them to try to get custody of Michael. They won’t hear of it. After Monica leaves Emily asks if she can go to a party Friday night. Edward wants details. Emily lies about it being a back to school party. Gia shows up and wants to be introduced. Emily puts a distress call in to Nicholas and tries to get Gia out of the room. However, Edward and Alan start asking her questions and she starts spewing lies about being of high society. It is fairly amusing. Nicholas finally shows up and Edward and Alan leave. Emily and Nicholas discuss how out of control Gia is and how Emily is definitely not going to the Rave on Friday. Gia is a blast…I’m glad she is on the show.
