General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 30-Aug-2000

Not a very eventful episode. Emily and Liz start out the show discussing how Xander paid Liz a visit at Kelley’s. They think he only wanted to make sure that she wasn’t going to turn him into the police for drugging her. This topic leads to them discussing how terrible it is to be drugged and to not remember something that happened to them. Emily suggests maybe that is how Lucky feels, like he lost a part of himself. Liz wonders if there is something Emily knows that she isn’t telling her. But Emily covers and says she is just trying to figure it all out, because she knows Lucky still loves Liz. Emily decides to go to the Eddie Maine concert. Liz tells her that if she sees Lucky, she should try to convince him his scheme is a bad idea. Emily goes to the concert. Juan sees her and decides to open for Ned so that he can sing Emily’s song. Emily is touched.

Before the concert starts, Ned is freaking out and pushing the band too hard, but he relaxes once Alexis gets there( she is in disguise). Gia shows up and wants back stage. Nicholas lets her in. They flirt. After the performance Ned is kissing Alexis when the media charges in wanting information on “Eddie’s Angel”

Tony and Monica discuss Chloe’s leaving town and missing a radiation treatment. Tony is worried. Monica rushes out of the hospital stopping only to call Alan and tell him it is “time”. They both rush home and make a big show of how they are going to have sex (GROSS!!!!). Edward and Lila are slightly appalled but are too busy discussing how Edward wants to get custody of Michael for Alan and Monica and how Lila doesn’t approve. Alan and Monica do the deed and then are very proud of themselves, (once again…GROSS!!!!)

Hannah and Taggart are enjoying a romantic outing on the beach, watching the sunset, when they witness a boat crash…and yup you guessed it, it’s AJ. He tries to crash the evening, but Taggart sends him walking home. AJ is crushed.

Tammy shows up at Kelley’s and tells Liz how worried she is about Mike. Mike comes in and Tammy talks to him about Sonny. Mike is all upset because he knows this is all his fault and Sonny won’t even see him to let him apologize. When Mac walks in, Mike decides to tell Mac it is all his fault, and that Mac arrested the wrong man. Mac says it doesn’t matter. They have a clear case against Sonny and what Mike has to say, doesn’t matter anymore. Mike is crushed.

Stefan is flying somewhere and talking to his goon about how his plan it working nicely, the next thing we see is a sleeping Chloe. At the end of the show a man walks into her room, but we don’t see his face.
