General Hospital Update for Monday, 28-Aug-2000

Lucky, Nicolas, Juan, Gia, and Liz are sitting around Kelly's discussing how to dispose of the dead body. Everyone except Liz agrees with Lucky;s plan and after they all leave, Liz tells Lucky that she's sorry that he's willing to take chances for all the wrong reasons. Liz tells Lucky that he is just like his parents which makes him mad and then she says that it must be nice to have a selective memory. At that, he explodes that there is NOTHING wrong with his memory. Later, Lucky apologizes to Liz for his outburst and he tells her that he listened to her concerns for his plan, but that the plan will still go through. He says that he wishes she would trust him like she used to. She tells him that he has changed and he looks hurt. Carly sees Jason at the door to the penthouse. She tells him to never leave her again and then she holds him close,telling him that she needs him. He holds her with tears in his eyes and she tells him she thought about him every day and he says he did too, but is rather vague about where he was. He hands her a teddy bear for the new baby and then she tells him everything about how she lost the baby, and then how Sonny helped her out so much and then she tells Jason about her plan to help Sonny back and then how its more of a mess than ever. Jason tells Carly that he left town for a number of reasons. He also tells her that he tracked down the arsonist and that he was happy for her being pregnant, cause he always knew that there was no future for him and her. Jax sits in the hotel remembering Brenda telling him that the best times in her life, where she felt more herself, and knew what she wanted out of life, were times spent with him. He also remembers how she looked on their wedding day and the time in the hospital before she got her test for her mental illness. Chloe arrives at the hotel, telling him that since her heart is with Jax, she is here, and that she has cancelled her chemo. Jax tells her that he thinks he saw Brenda. Chloe asks for details of the Brenda sighting and asks him if Brenda were really alive, would he still love Chloe the same way and he doesnt answer right away, but then later tells her that he still loves her. Chloe and Jax then declare their love for each and kiss passionately, then she pushes him away, telling him to go search for Brenda. She cries after he leaves and then calls Tony back in PC to cancel her chemo and then calls the concierge in the hotel to make plan reservations for Rome and hotel reservations for a hotel near the Tivoli Fountain as she needs to make a wish. As she goes to leave the room, a man grabs her and chloroforms her. Alexis tells Sonny that he has to marry Carly, but he refuses to do this in order to save himself and tells her what happened the last time he did that, as he married Lily that way and lost Brenda who he really loved, and then he also lost Lily and their baby in the car bomb, and he wont do that again. He tells her that she's a smart attorney and that she will find another way. He leaves her and heads back to the penthouse, walking in to find Jason sitting there with Carly and Michael.
