General Hospital Update for Monday, 7-Aug-2000

Carly and Roy continue flirting, while Sonny continues to ignore them. However, Bobbie walks in and is mortified to see Carly coming on to yet another one of Bobbie’s lovers. Roy tells Bobbie he was just trying to teach Carly a lesson. Bobbie reminds him that Carly stole Tony away from her and that she doesn’t want to watch it happen again. Roy assures her that he loves her and she asks him to come home with her, but he can’t. He has to sit in on a card game. Bobbie gets mad and storms out.

Sonny tells Carly she should stop playing games to get his attention. If she is mad at him for renting Jason’s place out from under her, she should talk to him about it. They go back and forth. Sonny finally begins to ask her to move in with him, but Carly cuts him off and agrees to see the realtor about getting a house. Sonny agrees and they leave Luke’s.

Lucky confronts Gia about being the blackmailer. She finally confesses and says there is no way Emily can’t afford it. Lucky figures out that Gia knows nothing about what happened inside the motel. They strike a deal that Lucky won’t turn her into the cops if she won’t spill the beans about Emily going to the motel, and Gia gets to keep the 5 grand. Lucky goes back to kelly’s to tell Liz and Emily. He finds that the two of them have spent the afternoon telling Juan what is going on. Emily needs to trust Juan so she decided to tell him everything. Juan vows to help and to never let her down again. Lucky doesn’t like it, but he tells them all about the blackmailer. They decide that Gia might have seen something around the motel and she needs to be questioned. Lucky says he will find out.

Chloe is still upset about the vision she had about Helena trying to kill her. Jax vows to protect her and takes her home. Meanwhile Helena has discovered that someone is recording her conversations on the yacht. She suspects Andreas is behind it and she has him followed when he leaves the boat. She also tells one of her subjects to find Stefan if he is alive. Jax confronts Andreas in the park and demands he tell him what Helena has in mind for Chloe. Andreas says he won’t tell Jax, but that he should get Chloe out of town. Stefan meanwhile places 24 hour guards on Chloe. He can not let her die, she is too valuable to him.
