General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 26-Jul-2000

Monica is once again arguing with Alan about the way he went about setting up her appointment with the fertility Doctor, Dr. Townsend. Edward comes in and says Monica is too old to have any more children. Edward tells Alan that he was a lousy father before and will be again.

Monica goes to appointment and flirts with Dr. Townsend (he is a hunk). After appointment Alan sees Monica laughing with the Doctor. Of course Alan looks jealous.

Ned gets an offer to open for a big name (of course we don't hear who) Juan asks to go along to Seattle. Ned guesses he justs wants to get away from Emily. Ned calls Emily to come to L&B. Ned tells the two that he has had an offer to sell Juan's contract to another record label and does Emily want him to? Both Juan and Emily want him to stay at L&B. Juan asks Emily if they can go out sometime and she says she has to think about it. Juan asks if he can record "Heart and Soul" (their song that they wrote together)

Stefan gets info on Chloe's condition. Stefan asks doctor about the possibilities of Chloe's psychic abilities. Doctor tells Stefan that since Chloe's tumor is shrinking her psychic abilities will also decrease. Stefan wonders how he can use Chloe before her abilities leave her.

Tony is new Chief of Nuerosurgery. Helena stops him at the hospital and wants info on Chloe's condition (in exchange for her support with the hospital board) Helena asks if Chloe is having any psychic dreams. Tony tells Helena to ask Chloe. Later a stupid nurse drops a stack of files in front of Helena--she helps her pick them up then convinces her to get Chloe's file. Andreas picks up file from nurse and gives her an envelope for payment.

Chloe is feeling much better. She starts sketching again but vows to get Helena. Chloe goes for check-up and Tony gives her good news, her tumor is shrinking and she should be ready for the last of the radiation in September. Tony warns Jax and Chloe that Helena was asking questions about Chloe's psychic dreams. Later at the penthouse Chloe dreams that Helena is reading her medical records.

Dara expresses her concerns, to Taggart, about Mac maybe framing Luke. Mac comes in and he and Taggart arguing again about Mac's behavior with the case. Mac gets angry and removes Taggart from the Cassidine murder case.

Two thugs stop Mike outside Kelly's. He borrowed money from a loan shark to cover his gambling losses, now they want their $10 thousand dollars. Tammy overhears, she tells Mike to go talk to Sonny. Mike says no that he can handle it. Outside the two thugs are talking to Serrell. The money Mike owes is his way of using Mike to get to Sonny.
