General Hospital Update for Monday, 10-Jul-2000

Carly spends the day trying to get Sonny to keep her from moving. She wants one reason why she shouldn’t move out. Sony tells her that her stuff is already there. Sonny asks what Carly wants from him. Sonny says she doesn’t have the right to want anything, but she wants not to be an obligation to him. She wants to know if she does anything for him. Stay or go its fine with him. Carly wants a response but he won’t give in. Carly says she is going. Michael wakes asking for Carly and Sonny, he has had a nightmare. Sonny assures him that he will keep him safe. Later Carly tells Sony how good he is with Michael and she doesn’t want that to change. She will move out tomorrow.


Em tells Lucky/Liz about the phone call. They spend the day talking about what the call could mean. They assume the caller will want money, but the caller may not know anything about Ted’s death. Caller may be trying to extort money from EM because she is a Quartermaine. Em apologizes for getting them all trapped in this.


Laura goes to Jake’s to get away from the real world and have fun, she runs into Tim. He asks her to dance. Mike and Tammy show up, Tammy asks a drunk Laura if she needs a ride somewhere. Laura gets upset at Tammy and tells her that when she was comforting her husband the day of Lucky’s funeral she didn’t interrupt them and would like Tammy to return the favor. Tammy explains to Mike that she was helping Luke and she isn't sorry. Mike praises Tammy for being there for Luke. Meanwhile, Tim offers to take Laura home, Laura declines and calls her mom. Lesley shows up and tells Laura she needs to find herself again, she needs to take a vacation.


Chloe writes in her journal about her dream with Jax in it. Meanwhile we see Jax kissing Helena. Helena talks of the earth spinning off its axis tonight. Jax tells her that he has a few surprises for her. He asks her to dance. They dance to the sleeping beauty music. Then go back to the bed. Jax asks her if she is sure this is what she really wants. Helena tells him she is sure. Jax handcuffs her to the bed and gags her. Then proceeds to find the medication and transfer papers, which he found unsigned. He emails permission from Helena's computer; he calls someone to confirm the sale and then leaves Helena. He goes back to the hotel and find Chloe peacefully sleeping.

Stephan hears a conversation of Helena talking about Chloe and tells his manservant to get all the info he can on Chloe. When he gets the info it is all stuff that is common knowledge, he can’t figure out the connection between Helena and Chloe.
