General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 28-Jun-2000

Emily is drying her nails in the Quartermaine house, talking to Juan. As usual, Emily shows her jealousy to Juan about Alison. Edward states that he wants the family to be present at Friday, but Emily informs him that she has plans. Emily lies to her grandparents and tells them that Emily promised that she would stay with Elizabeth. But, Edward and Lila are aware of this. Emily comes to Kelly's to talk to Juan. She tells him that she is stuck in the house, but she also says that she isn't missing the party. Emily goes to talk to Elizabeth and tells her that the story is that they are sleeping over. Elizabeth tells Nikolas that she wants to watch over Emily, so she invites Nikolas to come. Elizabeth tells Nikolas that she became closer to Lucky. Lucky overhears Nikolas and Liz talk, and decides to come to the party.

Tammy and Mike talk in Kelly's about risking his money horse racing. Tammy invites Mike to the Port Charles Grill because he feels that he will win the next race. Tammy tells him that she doesn't need the fancy things. He promises her he will quit if he is in over his head.

Lucky sneaks into Luke's office and opens his safe. He searches through some passports, but Roy enters the office. Roy and Lucky introduce each other and discuss Roy's past. Roy also tells Lucky that he knows about his imprisonment. They joke about their common interests. Roy tells Lucky that he is Luke's partner. They discuss Lucky's plans to head out of town. Roy tells Lucky that there are some things he should know about Luke. Roy tells Lucky that he respects Luke. Lucky tells Roy that Luke raped Laura. Roy tries to defend Luke and tell him that he would have known that Luke raped Laura. Roy is baffled and surprised, but still believes that Luke loves Laura. Roy offers Lucky a job at Luke's Place. Mike stops by the office and makes a gambling offer. Roy tells Mike that he will think about taking the risk. Roy asks Claude about the gambling operation.

Bobbie blabs to Amy and Audrey about her trip with Roy. Amy gives Audrey some messages for Monica. Elizabeth comes by Audrey at the hospital to share some coffee and talk about Lucky. Liz tells Audrey that she accidentally hit Lucky. Elizabeth shares her fears that Lucky doesn't want her anymore. Audrey tells Elizabeth that true love can survive anything. Bobbie comes and tells Monica that she has some messages. Monica tells Bobbie that she thinks she is pregnant. Alan comes by and is interested to know what they are discussing. Alan and Monica make small talk about the hospital. Amy and Bobbie discuss last years Nurses Ball. Bobbie tells Tony to butt out of her relationship. Bobbie tells Tony that she wants Lucas to get to know Roy. As usual, Bobbie tells Tony that she has waited 20 years for Roy.

Sonny brings Carly a gift, which is a dress. He informs her that he is taking her to the casino, but she refuses. Sonny tells Carly that she never passes up parties. Carly says that she remembers the Nurses Ball, and the last time at the casino. Sonny intrigues Carly and tells her that he has a new idea of gambling in mind. She eventually agrees to go for a short while. Carly and Sonnny come to the casino and find that it is empty. Carly believes that the casino is rigged, but Sonny tells her otherwise. Carly loses for most of the game. Sonny bets on number "3" for him, Carly and Michael. Of course, he wins. Sonny gives Carly a lesson on instincts. Carly begins to win the game, but quits while she is still ahead. They share a kiss.
