If you haven't watched Friday's episode yet and you're tired of watching Roy and Bobbie substituting kissing for dialogue, then skip Friday's show!

Chloe is getting closer to the truth about Helena and Stefan through her dreams. Although earlier in the day she insisted to Ned that she's not a psychic, Chloe "saw" the show-ending confrontation between Helena and Laura.

Ned was disturbed when Alexis chose to be alone rather than seek comfort from him.

Bobbie and Lucky had a long overdue reunion on the docks. Lucky surprised Bobbie by telling her that Nikolas and Liz's relationship had grown to be much closer than friends. Helena interrupted them, and Bobbie's fiercely protective nature took over. At first Lucky remained silent, but when Bobbie accused Helena of assisting Faison in Lucky's kidnapping, Lucky jumped to Helena's defense.

Laura and Roy (yes, he talks when Bobbie's not there!) had a long discussion about Luke's involvement, or lack thereof, in Stefan's disappearance. They agreed to work together to find out the truth.

Laura received a letter from Stefan, supposedly written the day of his "death." Stefan wrote of his "meeting" that night with Luke and of his apprehension. He told Laura that if "you're reading this, then it's because I'm dead." The letter also contained noble statements about not letting Nikolas know who murdered Stefan, since his relationship with Lucky is so important, and about his complete love for Laura.

Fortunately, just as Laura was beginning to fall apart, Leslie arrived home. Ever the skeptic, she told Laura not to believe any of it. Laura defended Stefan, claiming that he had to be dead because he would never just abandon Nikolas and he would never be so cruel as to send her such a letter. Her belief that she contributed to Stefan's death led her to bring a single white rose to the marble bench Alexis had had shipped over from Greece a few years ago. That's where the verbal confrontation with Helena took place.

Many miles to the south, in his hideaway in the Caribbean, Sonny did his best to get Carly in a more stable frame of mind. He verified with Alexis that AJ hadn't filed charges against Carly for threatening him with the gun. Carly seemed to be coming around; she asked Sonny why he was so nice to her when he didn't need to since the baby was gone. Sonny replied that he needed her, as she's the only person who knows what he's feeling. The cheerful mood didn't last for long, however: when Sonny declared that the reason AJ hadn't filed charges was due to his fear of Sonny, Carly exploded. She proclaimed that AJ didn't call the cops because he's not afraid of anything (and that is what he told Hannah at the Nurses' Ball). No matter what he does -- wrap Jason's head around a tree, kill a baby -- he always gets away with it. Sonny tried to tell Carly that AJ isn't getting away with it, but she wouldn't listen to him. Instead, she slapped him and began throwing glasses across the room.

And someplace in a French-speaking land, a contented Stefan was in the middle of kissing his young, blond companion when his butler interrupted him with a delivery. It was a CD recording of a conversation between Andreas and Helena. Helena spoke of her concerns that Stefan might not be dead. Her fears are based on the fact that she realizes Luke is being framed, and she's not the one doing it. She said that left only one person -- the victim himself. Andreas claimed he did indeed dump Stefan's body overboard. Helena said it should have surfaced by now -- unless Stefan knew of the intended murder and is biding his time, waiting to bring revenge on "all of us."
