General Hospital Update for Thursday, 22-Jun-2000

AJ tells Carly that he should have expected this (her holding a gun on him and threatening to shoot) cause she shoots all her ex's. They fight about the accident again. She tells him she will never let him near Michael. AJ tells her to go ahead and shoot. He says if it means that Michael grows up with her as a mother than he wants to die. She says "so we agree, you have to die". Sonny appears behind Carly and says "Carly Don't". AJ tells "Carly-Babes" to go ahead, but Sonny tells her that Michael needs her - don't do it. AJ dares Carly to do it while Sonny continues to try and talk her out of it. Sonny tells Carly that she's fearless and she's not thinking and he admires her and that Michael is lucky to have her as his mom. He tells her that she's hurting Michael by doing this because they all need her. He is able to get the gun away from her and he tells AJ that he won't remember what happened here tonight and they leave. AJ takes a huge breath of relief once they leave and swigs back a drink then laughs.

AJ has another wig of alcohol and Hannah appears saying she was wondering where he had disappeared to. He asks where Taggert is and she says he got called into work. AJ tells Hannah that her ex just saved his life and tells her that Carly pulled a gun on him and that it felt great! AJ tells Hannah that he never felt so alive, it was a rush - he's indestructable! She tells him he's drunk and should be thanking God for being alive. He grabs her and kisses her - she pushes him away asking what he's doing. AJ says he doesn't want to be friends with her - he doesn't want to hold hands - she's hot - he wants her. She tells him he needs to go to a hotel now, which of course he takes as an invite which she quickly sets him straight on.

Back at the penthouse Carly tells Sonny that she should have known better, that it wasn't the place to get rid of AJ - to public. She's losing it. She asks Sonny where she can get some drugs or poison to make it look like an accident and drank himself to death. She continues talking about killing AJ. Sonny says that she can't live with AJ's blood on her hands, she says she's doing it for Michael. He says that Michael needs her and this is not what he needs. She says she would just lay down and die if anything happened to Michael.

Sonny trys to get through to Carly that one son is gone but she still has her other son who needs her. Sonny says he won't let AJ hurt Michael. Sonny tells her to go change, he's taking the them away so she can rest and calm down. Sonny tells Johnny to get rid of all the guns in the house for everyone's safety. They show them next on the plane with Carly sleeping on Sonny's shoulder while he worries about her.

Chloe visits Felicia, she can tell something is wrong which Felicia says "more fallout from my time with Luke". Felicia tells Chloe that Mac wants a divorce and custody of her kids, but that he backed off on custody after he realized what it would do to the girls. Felicia says she knows the changes in Mac are because of her actions. She explains her attraction to Luke. Felicia tells Chloe that Mac thinks she's been sleeping with Luke this whole time but it was actually worse, she put another man in front of Mac in her heart. Mac enters saying he promised the girls he would come by and say goodbye before they left for the dude ranch. Chloe says she'll leave but has something to say first. Tells them she's from divorced parents and wishes someone had told her parents to think about all the years they have invested in each other and how hard it was for them to get together. Mac tells her she's wasting her breath, to which Chloe says she can see the love between them but Mac states otherwise and Felicia gets upset and tells him he can have the divorce.

The girls ask Mac to spend the night. Maxie starts mouthing off to Felicia AGAIN - she takes Georgie off to bed and Mac apologizes to Maxie for the divorce and she begs him not to leave them. Mac tells her he wishes he could take a magic wand and make them live happily ever after but he can't. Mac says he doesn't want the kids to take sides. He tells her how much Felicia loves them. He asks her to forgive Felicia and that nothing will change how he feels for them. Mac says good-bye to the girls and leaves, on Maxie's way to bed she tells Felicia she looks pretty and Felicia thanks her and starts crying (AGAIN).

Juan arrives at the studio, Allison enters after him and tells him she followed him and that he's the hottest singer at L&B and that after what she heard at the Nurses Ball she wants more. She flirts with him begging him to play the new song for her. He tells her he's serious about Emily but she tells him that they shouldn't be serious, they should take a night off from their "friends". Emily enters and is thrown aback. Allison tells Emily that Juan was just going to play the new song for her but he denies it. Allison asks Juan if he'll go to the party - Emily gets jealous and kicks her out. She's jealous and doesn't believe Juan when he says he didn't play the song for Allison. Juan gets upset that Emily doesn't believe him and plays the song for her. He tells her she brings him luck. she apologizes to him. He tells her he would have felt the same way if he saw her with another guy and that she's the only one for him.

Nicholas brings Liz back to her studio and says she wants to be alone so she can say good-bye to Lucky. Liz tells Nicholas that Lucky's feelings have changed towards her. She loves him to much to stand in his way so she needs to let him go. Liz tells Nick that Stefan would have been proud of him tonight at the Nurses Ball - she was. Nick leaves. Soon she hears someone trying to open the door to her studio. she gets a stick/bat and hits the intruder over the head to only realize it was Lucky. She drops down next to him to make sure he's okay. She apologizes for hittig him and he apologizes for breaking in and says he didn't know she was there and that he comes here sometimes at night - she asks why? Lucky tells Liz he misses her and her brownies and bad coffee and sitting there quitely while she paints. She tells him he can stick around cause she was going to paint he says he would like that. Lucky watches Liz paint and then thanks her for letting him watch and leaves.
