General Hospital Update for Friday, 16-Jun-2000

Lucky tells Liz that he wishes his parents could not explain his feelings to him like Liz does. He tells her he trusts her after she says she wished he could trust her like he used to.

Mac is ordering all trains, planes, buses, etc. to have extra security looking for Luke. Felicia comes in asking whats going on. Mac informs her that Luke escaped and asks her where he is.

Luke and Roy enter the safe house (looks a lot like the downstairs apartment of Joe Scanlan on Port Charles). Luke says he needs ID's and money to get out of the country to Switzerland. Roy says they could talk to Sonny for help, but Luke tells him not to trust Sonny - the dues are to high. He's got to leave he's being framed for murder.

Taggert comes upon Carly, Sonny and Michael taking a walk on the docks. Taggart comes and tells Sonny that Mac wants to see him in his office. Carly tells Taggart to pretty much get lost and she'll be his albi for anything their questioning Sonny for. Sonny says it's no big deal and tells Michael that he'll be back later after his nap. He leaves with Taggart. AJ appears and tells Carly that she's looking well and is glad she's okay (he was very sincere) which in return he receives dagger looks from Carly. He says hello to Michael and says she was in his thoughts during everything that happened and she lashes out on him. They fights about the accident and who's fault it was. Carly tells him that he belongs at the bottom of the river. He will NEVER take Michael and she'll do whatever it takes to keep him away.

Mac accusses Felicia of knowing that Luke escaped and Mac then asks for Felicia to promise that she'll let him know when Luke contacts her. She slips out of her office when Taggart enter with Sonny. Mac informs Sonny that Luke escaped and he knows he's helped him. However, Sonny didn't even know Luke was in jail to begin with and asks what for. Mac informs him and Sonny says he hasn't seen Luke for weeks and that Stefan means nothing to him. He tells Taggart and Mac to stay away from his house and the people in it. Sonny leaves laughing at them and Taggart asks Mac what that accomplished, from what he can see - nothing.

Liz asks Lucky what she's done to make him so upset - she doesn't understand. he says she hasn't done anything to deserve it. She asks what happens when they are together and he says he sees a light and he's walking towards it and then something happens. She moves close to him and asks him if there is a wall between them and he says he doesn't want to hurt her and they FINALLY start kissing. There is an impatient knock at the door of Liz's studio - it's Nicholas telling them that his Uncle is dead and Luke has been arrested.

Laura walks into Mac's office - he says he was going to call her. She yells at him for solving a murder that hasn't even happened. He tells her that all of Stefan's possessions are in place and that he found poison in Luke's safe and that he heard Luke threaten to kill Stefan. She yells that they have been saying that for years. Mac tells her that Luke escaped and that is a clear admission of guilt.

Felicia comes across Roy on the docks. He says he was going to call her. She guesses that he's on the one who broke Luke out of jail. She asks to see him, Roy takes her to him.

Carly tells Johnny to find Benny and that she'll call Alexis when Sonny walks in. She tells Sonny about her encounter with AJ and how he said he will get Michael at any cost. She says she can't wait - he needs to kill him. He tells her to forget him, he won't kill him cause of the damage it will do to Michael, that Michael may want to know who his father is later in life and he should find out on his own that AJ is useless, besides he'll destroy himself. Sonny leaves to make lunch for Carly and she opens the mail to find the Nurses Ball invite and ponders the thought.

Laura tells Mac that because Mac has a grudge is why Luke ran. He asks Laura to as Luke to turn himself around. Luke asks Roy what took so long. He said he needed to get everything togther, but he brought him a bonus. Felicia walks in. Luke thanks Roy for not holding a grudge (when Luke flipped out on Roy for being an FBI informant). Felicia tells him that Mac is framing him and she's the only one who can help. Luke tells her that she's can't tell the truth about that night - she needs to work things out with the kids and her family and maybe something will happen while he's away to clear his name.

Nicholas grills Lucky about if he knew about it. Nich and Lucky fight over Stefan and Luke. Lucky says its not true and takes off for the police station. Nicholas says "no let him go!" Liz yells at Nicholas for attacking Lucky. Nick freaks and yells that he's so sick about hearing what Lucky needs. He said that one cares about Stefan being dead except him and the police. Liz trys to calm him down. Nich says how much Stefan loved him and meant to him. She reminds him that him and Lucy had made a promis to not let their families get between them. He feels that promises get broken - he tells her to look at the promises Lucky made her and storms out.

Lucky runs into Helena on his way to the police Station. He tells her he's not interested in her plans. He tells her he has someone he has to see and asks her nicely to get out of his face. Lucky says he doesn't owe Helena anything. He informs her that Luke has been arested for Stefan's murder and tells her she should come with him to the police station and save the police the work of finding the killer. She reminds him to always protect his queen.

Stefan NOT dean - getting a massage.

Roy sees Laura outside Kelley's and she asks where Luke is.

Luke and Felicia kiss goodbye.

AJ tells Hannah she should congratulate him for being in the restaurant for 15 minutes without geing thrown out. He asks her to be his date for the Nurses Ball.

Carly informs Sonny that she wants to go to the Nurses Ball.
