General Hospital Update for Thursday, 1-Jun-2000

Jax is on the phone trying to get to the pharmaceutical conglomarate for the medicine for Chloe. She walks in and a really bad headache starts. Jax promises her that the company will release the drug soon. Jax leaves while Chloe is staring out the window. Jax goes over to the Quatermaine's house. He tells Edward that he has won - it's over. ELQ is his - he's out. Jax doesn't care what Edward does with it. Edward thinks Jax is stalling. Jax offers to sell back AJ and Tracy's shares at fare market value, says that some things are more important than business. Jax tells Edward that Chloe isn't getting better and about the drug in Europe and how he is trying to buy the conglomorant that owns the drug company. Edward (in his own way) tells Jax he's proud that Chloe is with him.

Jax goes back home and tells Chloe how he let ELQ go and his plan to buy the drug company. They hear his fax machine printing and read that Helena owns the drug company!

Mac comes over to the house to spend time with the girls. Georgie informs Mac that Maxie is in detention for punching a boy. The boy had laughed at her for an "F" she got on a math test. Mac takes off to get Maxie out of detention. He says he'll get ahold of Felicia at Kelly's later so they can both talk to Maxie. Mac confronts Maxie once back at home. Maxie begs to go back to Texas.

Tammy gives Luke directions on how to handle Kelly's while she's off on a mini vacation. Lucky walks in wanting some chilli, he hears a lot of noise in the kitchen and of course it's Luke fumbling in the kitchen - he appears and they exchange some very icy stares. Lucky asks Luke why he's everywhere he goes and leaves. Tammy tells Luke that Lucky will come around and Luke replies that he's happy his son is alive.

Felicia shows up at Kelly's looking for Tammy and finding Luke there. The customer that Luke made lunch for passes out in his sandwich. Felicia calls 911 and Luke trys getting the customer up. Paramedics are taking the customer away and they tell Luke and Felicia that his symptoms are that of a highly contagious misquote bit - hopes they didn't touch anything (like the man himself or his food). They inform Luke and Felica that they need to have a blood test done. Luke passes out. They are informed that they are quarenteened to Kelly's for the night till they get the blood test results. Mac then calls and Luke answers the phone - he's shocked that Luke has answered - now Felicia knows she's in trouble again!!

Helena orders Andrais to find Lucky and bring him to her. Laura shows up @ Helena's yacht wanting to know what she has done to her son. Helena tells Laura that she saved Lucky from Faison but Laura accusses her of planning the whole thing. Helena tells Laura that Lucky was waiting a long time for his parents to find him, but they never came, she found him after she realized what Faison had done. Laura tells her she needs to face her now - Helena said she will enjoy this.

Stephan confronts Laura on the dock. Stephan tells her that he's close to finding out what Helena has done to Lucky. She promises to believe him when he tells her.

Lucky arrives at Helena's yacht. He tells her "this whole thing isn't working out, everyone keeps getting hurt." Helena invites him to a game of chess to relax. He tells her that he's still leaving PC. They sit down to play and she reminds him to always protect his queen. Helena tells Lucky of her visit with Laura. Lucky tells Helena he misses beating her at chess and that there is no need to leave town. Helena tells Lucky she's glad he decided to reconnect with Nicholas - Stephan is now evasedropping on them. Lucky and Helena discuss Elizabeth and how he doesn't want to hurt her but she want everything to be as before. Helena tells him that it can't be and that he "knows what must be done."

Juan is writing a song when Ned walks in. Emily enters after with fan mail for Juan. Alexis comes to ask Ned to lunch as the phone rings, she answers it - it's Lois for Ned. This makes Alexis VERY uncomfortable. Ned and Lois talk about Eddie Maine's concert and old times. Alexis overhears Ned say something about an anniversary. After he hangs up with Lois, Ned tells Alexis she's a real trooper. She says she's not cause she wants to know what anniversary - he tells her it would have been his and Lois' 5th anniversary that day. He reassures her that Lois was in love with Eddie Maine NOT Ned. Emily and Juan open the fan mail to find a half naked picture of a fan for Juan. Emily gets pretty jealous. Ned tells them to get used to it - it's only the beginning. Juan reassures Emily that she has nothing to be jealous of. Of course she feels better after she rips up the photo.

Alexis tells Chloe about Lois calling Ned and they discuss this. Alexis and Ned take Chloe to lunch while she gets another headache attack.
