General Hospital Update for Monday, 8-May-2000

Monday's episode featured warm scenes between Carly and Sonny and between Luke and Laura (they still have so much chemistry!). Lucky was still skulking around PC, Chloe's dreams were more revealing, and Bobbie and Roy enjoyed their time alone together.

Lulu assured Lucky that Liz wanted him to have the necklace and that she had said she still loves him. Meanwhile, Nikolas and Liz pondered all the reasons Lucky would reveal himself to Lulu but hide from everyone else. Nikolas left Liz at the docks and went to Laura's house to see Lulu. Lulu didn't tell him about Lucky's visits.

Laura and Luke had an emotional discussion about the potential benefits of their sticking around PC to wait for Lucky to come to them instead of their searching all over for him. They rehashed their failed reunion in Vancouver with him. Luke promised Laura that she just needs to say the word and he'll go back on the road to search for Lucky.

Carly and Sonny discussed the ring Sonny bought for her. Carly tried to explain why she wasn't ready to take off Jason's rings. Sonny told her that Jason's never coming back; Carly looked quite sad when she heard this. Sonny said he didn't mind being married to someone who's in love with another man. Carly took his ring and told him the day will come when she's ready to move on and wear his ring instead of Jason's.

Roy and Bobbie spent a romantic evening together. Not much to report on that. Laura told Luke about Roy's arrest and escape. Luke instantly blamed Sonny and then headed over to the penthouse to confront Sonny about it. About two minutes into Luke's diatribe against Sonny, Carly appeared to defend Sonny.

Chloe and Jax learned of an experimental drug in Europe that may help her condition. They decided to try it in combination with the radiation. Jax tried to interpret Chloe's latest dream as positive: Helena wasn't able to kill Chloe. Later Jax spoke on the phone to an unidentified person about dealing with Helena.

At the show's end, Lucky showed up on the dock where Liz had spent the evening. He ran away, of course, but returned when he thought she had left. She surprised him by coming back and walking right up to him. And that's how the show ended.
