General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 3-May-2000

Edward tells Monica, who later reports to Alan, that AJ has sold his ELQ stocks to Jax. Jax is now in New York, buying Tracy's stock as well. So, Edward decides to visit Chloe, and ask for her help is saving his company. Jax barges in on the conversation, and warns Edward to leave her out of it! After Edward leaves, it is obvious that Chloe is still distraught about the situation, and begs Jax to stay away from ELQ. He refuses to budge, and reminds her that it isn't personal. Her response of course is to have another headache. She falls asleep, and in another dizzying dream, sees a dead man. Meanwhile, Alan and Monica continue to discuss AJ's drinking and stupidity, and decide to ask Lila for help in getting Carly to allow AJ to see Michael. Outside Kelly's, a drunk AJ, in his own attempt to see Michael, harasses Mike by using his gambling to form a bond between addicts. Mike doesn't fall for the act. Tammy comes outside only to kick AJ out of the restaurant. She refuses to serve him, so he proceeds to break empty drinking glasses. Tammy threatens to call the cops. But it's Hannah to the rescue. She brings AJ up to her room to sober him up. She then goes downstairs to see Taggert waiting for AJ, and since he really only came to see her anyway, he leaves when she says she has the situation under control. Meanwhile, at the Scorpio residence, things don't look good for Felicia. Mac still won't forgive her, nor will she deny her feelings for Luke. She begs him to work things out, and bring her girls home, but the usual fight goes on. Stephan interrupts, only to be told by Mac to stay in the area, that he is a suspect in the latest Cassadine murder. And finally, speaking of Cassadine, Nik confronts Helaina about Lucky's odd behavior, and when Stephan walks in on the discussion, Nik tells him that he doesn't trust either one of them. Also, in a quick scene at L&B, Eddie Mane does some heartful singing to Alexis, while Juan watches in admiration. And although Emily is disappointed that the radio won't play his song (I wonder why), she assures him his career will one day take off like her cousin's.
