At least Chloe's latest storyline actually makes some sense now! That was just one of the big revelations on today's show. For more details, read on...
Carly and Sonny made love. They both seemed nervous about it and gave each other the chance to back out. Their style this time was very different from their tryst last fall when Carly got pregnant. They were tender and patient and actually seemed loving.
Meanwhile, Liz despaired when Lucky ran away after seeing her on the docks. She chased after him to no avail. Nikolas confronted Helena over Lucky's whereabouts but got no answers from her. She reassured him how much she loves him; he retorted with an order to stay away from him and all the people close to him.
Roy managed to get out of the prison van -- handcuffs intact -- and was rescued by Johnny, who had blocked the road with a vehicle. Johnny took Roy to a safe house somewhere near Port Charles. They notified Sonny, who arrived with a suitcase containing $500,000 cash for Roy to use to start a new life. Roy told Sonny, "Thanks, but no thanks; I'm staying in Port Charles," and the two men came up with a plan to bring down Larkin. Later Johnny brought Bobbie to see Roy.
When Sonny returned home, he found Carly still in his bed. She asked if he minded, but he said no. While he was out, she had tried on some rings he keeps in his jewelry box. So it wasn't much of a surprise that she told him that if the offer was still open, she'd consider marrying him "for the children's sake."
After Nikolas's argument with Helena, he returned to the docks to find Liz. She was bemoaning Lucky's sudden disappearance. Nik did his best to reassure her that Lucky still loves her, but all Liz could do was think of things she could have done earlier to have found Lucky. Just as they were hugging each other for confort, Lucky walked down some steps behind them, saw them hugging, and overheard their conversation. He's just so darned mysterious.
Over in Russia, our damsel-in-distress Chloe once again had a dream about the music box. She and Jax discussed its implications and decided to return to Port Charles. As Chloe lay down next to Jax to take a nap, the music from her dreams began to play -- and we were taken to Helena's yacht, where Helena and Andreas were dancing rather seductively to Chloe's song. The show ended with a closeup of the music box from Chloe's dreams: it's on one of Helena's tables. So, what's the connection here?
