Chloe dreams about the music box again. This time, Tony is at the Nurses' Station, holding the box out to her as she begs him to make it stop. Jax wakes her and she tells him about the dream. She tells him that the music feels threatening. They agree that her fear is probably just her fears about her illness coming through in the dreams. Ned & Alexis stop by for a quick "Bon Voyage" sip of champagne. After they leave, Chloe admits to Jax that she is very upset about the ELQ takeover and that she wanted to tell Ned all about it. They agree to put it behind them for now and enjoy their trip to St. Petersburg.
The reason for the 1 minute, 44 second party? I guess Ned and Alexis are, uh, busy. The next we see of them, he is modeling his leather pants and she is admiring the results of his recent workouts. He tells her that there will be just one last public appearance by Eddie Maine, but that he might be available for private parties. ;o)
Rae has found the Bible and starts flipping through it, but we don't get any info on what it does or doesn't say. She calls John Sykes (OLTL) and leaves a message that she'll be back "home" in Llanview soon...
Meanwhile, Alan and Sonny are arguing at The Grill. Alan tells Sonny, "It's time you got what you deserve!" and Sonny flashes back on his 8th birthday when Deke says the very same thing as he smashes Sonny's cake and beats him with a belt. Back in "real" time, Carly steps in and tells Alan to back off, reminding him that because of Sonny, Alan is dressed up for dinner instead of Visitor's Day at the penitentiary. While this is going on, Sonny has a deadly calm look on his face. He finally snaps out of it when Monica calls Carly a slut. He insists she apologize, or AJ is headed straight for prison. Carly gives him a wonderful "my hero!" look, and Monica does (grudgingly) apologize. Sonny tells Edward to keep Alan and Monica in line and to show Carly respect. As they are leaving, Carly tells Sonny she blew it, but he just tells her, "You meant well. It's the thought that counts."
Back at the penthouse, Sonny thanks Carly for sticking up for him, and talks about the home they are making for their children. He wants to explain why birthdays bother him, why he is so protective, etc. When he tells her about Deke and his childhood, Carly starts to cry. He vows to be a good father, but Carly tells him he is already a good father to Michael. He tells her that she is a strong mother who will fight for her children, and that he admires that.
The Quartermaines are still at The Grill having supper, having a typical family argument over just about everything. Lila thinks Alan egged Sonny on, Edward thinks it's AJ's fault they even have to deal with the man, etc. Rae comes to tell the family goodbye, but Monica starts in with the affair accusations. She storms out, Edward and Lila leave, and Alan continues to eat his dinner. Rae is just standing there, wondering what was going on... She and Alan finally laugh over the ridiculousness of the Q's. She does tell him that she's leaving town, and that she hopes everything gets worked out with Monica.
Larkin and Hannah meet outside Kelly's, and she discovers that Ford has been transferred. She wants to find out a way to get Roy out of Pentonville. Bobbie joins the conversation, and (keeping in mind that Roy doesn't want her to start any trouble with Larkin) tells Hannah that she's sure Larkin is doing all he can to help. Larkin tells them that he might be able to strike up a deal if they can just get some more information on Sonny out of Roy. Hannah volunteers for the job, but Bobbie says Roy is too protective to get her involved. Bobbie says that she'll get the information. After Larkin leaves, Bobbie admits to Hannah that Roy refuses to see her and that it's too hard to live without him again. She said that as soon as he came back into her life, all the love came back. Hannah promises to persuade Roy to let Bobbie visit, and Bobbie vows to get Roy out of prison.
And she'd better do it soon... Roy gets attacked by two of the inmates who have heard the news that he's an informant. A guard breaks up the fight just before it turns deadly. When he comes back to check on Roy, he whispers that he is watching over Roy on Sonny's orders, but that word has gotten out about Roy working for the FBI.
On the next General Hospital:
Nikolas tells Elizabeth, "Today's the day."
Jax and Chloe share pillow talk in St. Petersburg.
Alexis and Stefan meet with the doctor who examined Lucky.
Carly has stomach pains.
