Sonny is leaving for a meeting and Carly asks where he’s going. Sonny tells Carly that she’s proved she can’t be trusted and leaves.
Roy tells Bobbie he’s been an FBI informant since they first met. She thinks he’s talking about Frank Smith, but he tells her that “for the sake of any second chance they might have, he needs to tell her everything.”
Helena offers Lucky a chance to leave if he wins their chess match. He hesitates, asking whether they’ve seen everything they came to see. She says the room (the weather machine room) has lost it’s charm. He then asks if they leave, will they be going to Port Charles?
Luke stops Laura from clubbing Felicia over the head. When she catches her breath, Felicia tells them that Helena is setting up a trap. Laura responds coolly, “Yes, we are prepared for that.”
Back to Roy, he tells Bobbie that the FBI offered him an “opportunity” to become a snitch instead of staying in prison. He realized that he really didn’t have a choice when the found the “right incentive”—Hannah. (Bobbie is looking pretty moved and compassionate by this.) Hannah’s mother had just walked out on her, and her grandparents had died. The FBI found her just before she was about to go into foster care, and he took the deal, so he could be her father, even if it was part time. He swears to her that this is his last job for them.
Lucky is getting annoyed with Helena and her mind games and lets her know. He asks what she wants from him. Her answer: “The pleasure of her company, a little while longer.”
Back to the campsite, Luke is trying to figure out exactly what Felicia heard. She said she couldn’t stand by and let them walk into a trap. She says to consider her another pair of eyes and ears, but Luke and Laura are looking a little hesitant about that idea. She reminds them she’s handy in a crisis, and Laura looks peeved as Luke vouches for her. Luke heads down the path, while Laura and Felicia both gesture “after you”. Felicia ends up going first.
Sonny comes home from his meeting, and Carly is waiting up. He tells her she should be in bed. She says “we need to talk.” She thought they were going to be able to find a way to cohabitate for the sake of the baby. She says she made “one tiny little mistake’, and he jumps in saying that’s exactly the problem…she doesn’t think it’s a big mistake. She tries to point out it’s nothing compared to what Hannah did. She wants a little credit for trying to do the right thing for her mother (opening the desk). He tells her she is worth nothing.
Bobbie comments, “So you weren’t in prison for the last 20 years.” She wants to know why he didn’t call or write. He says the FBI owned him and he didn’t want to drag her through the uncertainty of his life. She wishes she had at least known he was alive, and tells him about all the nights she laid awake dreaming of him and how much she missed him. She wants to know why he came back now. She begins to piece together that he’s here on his job…and he’s after Sonny. He explains that he was originally there to track a money launderer and was reassigned to Sonny. She pales as she realizes who the money launderer: Jerry. **
Taggert and Mac harass Stefan for leaving town when he was told not to. Mac is manhandling him as Dara and Alexis walk in.
Lucky beats Helena at chess, and he asks why she enjoys watching him win so much. She says she likes to watch his creative mind at work. He is amused; his parents have creative minds. Helena’s phone rings and she tells Lucky, “It’s time.”
Our trio of hikers are lost in the woods, looking for the entrance. Luke found a door, but it’s sealed. Laura asks how they opened it the last time…it was Robert’s job. Felicia finds the code panel, and they are trying to guess the password, all sorts of names, ice princess, etc. Turns out it’s 10/23: Mikos and Helena’s anniversary. (I won’t comment on the security of that password!) They start to go through the door, and Felicia points out that someone should stand guard. Luke and Laura quickly decide it will be Felicia ;)
Bobbie thinks that Roy drove Jerry out of town. She’s upset and accuses him of setting her up. He tries to say his original target was Marino, and that he didn’t realize the trail would lead to Jerry. He says he would have protected Jerry for her if he’d known. She doesn’t believe him and tells him she’s had enough lies.
Carly is insulted by Sonny’s statement that her love doesn’t mean anything. He says to her, love is desperation, not loyalty. She accuses him of being jealous of the people in her life like Bobbie and Michael. He accuses her of disrupting Michael’s life and says she uses love like a weapon to manipulate and hurt…and he’s not going to let her do that to him and make sure she never gets another chance. She’s crying and non-responsive.
Alexis points out that Dara can’t prove a crime was committed: kidnapping a legally dead person who was declared dead with a DNA match. Dara says she’s sick of the Cassadines taking the law into their own hands.
Luke and Laura enter a large chamber (it’s where Helena and Lucky were). She’s certain Lucky was in that room, she feels him. Laura wonders aloud why Helena has brought them there. He wants to look for clues. Meanwhile, Felicia is pacing outside and hears a helicopter. Back inside, Luke and Laura realize there’s nothing in there. Felicia comes in and tells them she saw a helicopter and they all run off.
Carly tells Sonny she doesn’t need absolution from him. She tells him she’s worried he’ll shut their child out. She is stunned that he can’t offer anyone a second chance. She’s pretty brutal/honest telling him it’s no wonder he’s all alone when no one can live up to his standards. (I’m rooting for her all of a sudden!)
Bobbie is upset. Roy is insistent that he didn’t know it was Jerry he had caught until it was too late. She is hostile, and he tries to tell her that he’s been killing himself to keep his distance because he couldn’t tell her the truth. He tells her he loves her. He’s never stopped. She looks like she’s going to give in as we fade to commercial.
He says she’s a manipulator and calculating. He saw her do it to Jason and he won’t let it happen to him. She says that their current situation (her words: armed camp) won’t work for the baby. She’s willing to try, is he? She is crying as she puts his hand on her stomach. His response: “That’s exactly what I mean.” He walks upstairs.
Roy tells Bobbie his only hope was that he wouldn’t lose this chance with the woman he loves so much. He has realized that he has to take whatever power he has left out of the hands of the FBI. In the end, he knows she might not be able to forgive him, but at least he knows he loves her. She’s crying quietly as she asks him to leave. He goes. She paces looking lost and crying.
The judge granted PCPD custody of Stefan for the next 48 hours. Dara tells Mac to make the most of it. Alexis points out they all want the same thing: Lucky. Only Helena knows where he is, and Stefan is going to find him the fastest. Mac decides to let him go, but makes it clear that Stefan’s first phone call when finding Lucky had better be to him.
Luke wonders if the helicopter was a decoy. Felicia tries to make suggestions, and Laura tries to tell her to stay out of it. Tearfully, Felicia says she can’t go home without “your baby”, her marriage depends on it. Luke quietly suggest they accept Laura’s help. Laura goes out for some fresh air, and the door closes and seals behind her.
Tomorrow on GH:
Edward hands AJ his divorce papers.
Nik introduces some new girl to Juan at L&B.
Alexis comments to Jax that they should stay married to the people they’re married to.
Larkin wants to ask Bobbie about her kidnapping.
Roy tells Hannah he thinks he’s lost Bobbie forever.
** Newbies: Jerry was Bobbie’s fiancé left town to avoid charges several months ago. Bobbie loved him very much and it was hard for her to see him go, even though she was thrilled that her old flame (Roy) was back in town.
