General Hospital Update for Monday, 13-Mar-2000

Our show opens with AJ drowning his sorrows in a bottle of vodka.

Em and Juan are sharing a shake at Kelly’s. They talk about him telling his dad that he’s going to start singing. Then they head home, and walk straight into the other Q’s confronting AJ about drinking. They try to tell Em to go up to bed and she reminds them she’s not a child. Em tells AJ she’s angry at him. Lila tells AJ she hopes he can pull himself back again…he looks sheepish. She chides Edward not to do any more damage, but Edward gets one last dig in, and the confrontation continues. Alan tells AJ to try his best, he still won’t go.

Sorrel’s people grab Bobbie, who is trying to say that Luke and Mac will come looking for her. They pull her into a back corner as Roy enters. Sorrel isn’t pleased that Roy came instead of Sonny. Bobbie kicks over a box and draws attention. Roy is suspicious that they were planning to ambush Sonny. After Roy goes, they tell Bobbie that her freedom is in Sonny’s hands.

Carly and Sonny share a playful argument about her eating habits. She tells him that she eats so much junk because it drove AJ nuts. He tells her he’ll protect her. They make a pact that they will never tell their child that the other person is a horrible person.

Mike and Tammy have a skirmish with Hannah at Kelly’s on their way out on a date. Hannah later tells Taggert she’s proud of herself for standing up for herself. They share a celebratory desert and she tries to thank him. He asks her to dance.

Em tells Monica she hates AJ for everything he’s done to the family. Monica tries to comfort her. After Monica leaves, Juan knocks at her window and she lets him in. He holds her while she cries. She tells Juan that she understands AJ’s problem and tells him she used to do drugs. He tells her they can help each other.

Alan and AJ share a heart to heart and share a little forgiveness.

Roy calls Bobbie to check in and tell her he’s safely home from the meeting. He ends up leaving a message, because she wasn’t home.

Sonny comes home and tells Carly to be ready to go early in the morning. He’s taking her to the Domincan Republic to get a divorce. She lets him know she isn’t to happy about being ordered around. He backs off but tells her to clean up after herself. He watches and smiles from the top of the stairs as she does.
