General Hospital Update for Friday, 11-Feb-2000

Hello fellow GH fans. This wasn't posted until Monday morning because I found out then that no one had reserved Friday's update. So, I thought I'd help out by writing the update a few days late.
Friday's show was great. Sonny, Carly, Liz, Bobbie, Roy, Luke, and Laura all had shining moments. The fallout of Friday's show will be a big factor today.
Luke and Felicia didn't have too many scenes. They did overhear Stefan telling one of his hired goons that everything has to go as planned, etc. Later they managed to sneak into an office inside the Cassidine compound, where they found detailed phone bills and a recent picture of Lucky (which the audience didn't get to see). From the phone records, Luke determined that Lucky must be in Libya. It was a pretty powerful moment when he wanted to leave the office with the picture of Lucky but Felicia reminded him they couldn't take it with them; in response, a stunned but elated Luke responded that his son is alive.
Back in PC, Jax arranged with Tony to take Chloe on an outing to the park. It was rather boring (in my opinion). You'd think some of the hospital staff would be catching on by now that Jax is more interested in Chloe than Ned is. Jax lay down next to Chloe in her hospital bed at the end of the day.
More interesting scenes included an emotional discussion between Laura and Liz about missing Lucky and coping with Valentine's Day. Laura confessed that LuLu was on a sugar high and should have had lunch "an hour ago," while Liz refused to spend the rest of the day with Laura, preferring instead to be alone and acknowledge the pain of missing Lucky.
AJ and Sonny continued the discussion started at the end of Thursday's show about Carly's pregnancy and the lack of a need for Jason to know of it or be involved. Sonny assured AJ that he had no plans to tell Jason about it. He then went over to the Q mansion to confront Carly about it, having realized that he was most likely the baby's father. (He flashed back to their sex scene and also remembered being told that Carly and AJ weren't sleeping together.) Carly wasn't home (she was still arguing with Bobbie about Sonny's paternal rights), so an angry Edward confronted Sonny. Edward went to great lengths to explain that the baby deserved to grow up as a true Quartermaine, which he's sure the baby is, even if the baby is Jason's. Sonny again had to assure someone that he wouldn't inform Jason of Carly's situation. Eventually he left.
When Carly did return home, she dressed up in a sexy, short black dress and waited for AJ to return home. He was dumbfounded that she'd do that for him. She acted like she wants to be a happy couple and provide a great environment for their children. Needless to say, AJ believed her and continued to think he's winning.
Bobbie invited Roy over after arguing with Carly. She admitted that she didn't know what love was until she met him. They were in the middle of a discussion about Carly when a determined Sonny arrived. As the show went off, Sonny asked Bobbie if he's the father of Carly's baby.
