General Hospital Update for Thursday, 10-Feb-2000

Sonny sees Emily @ Kelly's and she tells him she got a postcard from Jason from Minnesota. She wonders what he's doing there. Sonny goes inside to ask Liz if she's okay. She tells him yes and they start talking about Lucky. Audrey walks in and snaps at Sonny telling him to leave Liz alone she orders him to leave. Audrey then begs Liz to stay away from him - he's no friend, everyone around him gets hurt. Liz tells her that she's on her own and she can talk to who she wants and when. Later: Liz and Emily talk about Lucky and when Juan comes by and tells Emily he just got them tickets to the Valentine Dance, Emily and Liz exchange looks.

Tony and Bobbie are working at the hospial and Tony asks her if everything is okay with Carly's baby. Bobbie and Tony discuss Carly. Of course Tony is being negative (how she's a bad mother and how much trouble she is) and Bobbie is sticking up for her daughter.

Edward tells Carly and AJ that he's going to throw a party to announce the pregnancy. Edward tells AJ he is proud of the good work he is doing and then leaves the room and AJ then does his normal speech: You need to be the perfect wife, but this time he says in public and in private. Carly tells AJ that she is going to see Bobbie, he says "if I didn't know better, I would think you were going to see Jason" - he forbids her to say his name in the house. She leaves to go see Bobbie. Bobbie wants to know how she could pass the baby off as AJ's. Carly tells Bobbie how AJ thinks the baby is Jason's and that he plans to raise the baby as his own to get back at Jason.

Sonny returns to Kelly's and tells Liz that he would never let anyone hurt her, blah, blah, blah, blah (same old thing) and when he leaves he runs into AJ. AJ wants Sonny to relay a message to Jason: "Carly is pregnant with his child". Sonny is shocked because he knows it can't be Jasons.

Stefan is on the plane on his way back to Greece to rescue Lucky and bring him home. Meanwhile Luke and Felica come upon Helena's private villa. They continue their flirting. Luke and Felica speak of Laura and how she was a Cassidine captive.

Alan and Monica set up a date to meet at home. Monica tries to remind him that they are supposed to be fighting and working towards a divorce. They agree to meet at home. Alan goes home and pretty much tells AJ to go back to the office. Alan has beautiful roses and strawberries awaiting Monica. He tells her (jokingly) that she needs to teach him how to seduce. Monica asks if there is an anniversary she doesn't know about. He then presents her with a gift. She opens it to find a beautiful necklace with 5 pearls on it "one for each year of being cancer free". She is astonished! Monica thanks him for all his support.
