General Hospital Update for Thursday, 27-Jan-2000

My first time and my VCR dies . . .

Mac and Felicia: Mac found Felicia coming out of Kelley’s asked her out to dinner, she jumped at the idea – when he mentioned to Luke’s she suddenly has had a headache all day. He tells her to take some aspirin and meet him there in an hour. She is sitting at the bar talking with Roy, who is surprised to see her as Luke is not there. She says how she wished Luke would call her – when Laura, who is standing in back of Felicia asks why Luke would call her? They have a little spitting match – you can see who you want while Luke has to sit by and lick his wounds, you asked for the divorce, blah, blah. Laura comes back with you two are pretty good buds – Felicia, that’s none of your business I will see Luke whether you want me do or not; Laura, what will Mac, your husband have to say about that, of course Mac is standing behind her. Somehow Mac steals Felicia away to a table – Felicia apologizes she lost her temper, Laura comes down on her in her own home and now here. Mac asked are you sure Luke doesn’t want something more than friendship; Felicia “No” . . .

Carly and AJ: Carly is sitting at the docks pining for Jason when AJ walks up and gets down on her for missing Jason. She defends herself, is trying to make a go at the “marriage”. Finally Carly says something like "when I defend myself you get mad at me, when I don’t you come down on me – maybe you should think about that". Surprisingly AJ agrees – maybe I should and walks away.

Carly goes right to a pay phone to call an abortion clinic she makes an appointment for right then and there. When she hangs up Tony is standing there – hope you were making an appointment for prenatal care. She tells him to bud out, he rehashes her last pregnancy.

Carly is at the clinic and the Doctor/Counselor is asking questions – Carly is adament that she has made up her mind. The Dr gives her some reading information, however Carly makes an appointment to have the procedure done tomorrow at 5:00.

Alexis and Helena: Helena makes a visit to L&B supposedly to discuss Nikolas. Alexis maintains that she knows more than she actually does about Helena’s doings. Helena is completely believeing her. Alexis throws daggers at Helena and Helena throws threats back – then comes Ned to the rescue. Family isn’t everything, Jax and I will get you where it hurts the most – the precious Cassadine’s, yada yada. Helena leaves but not before tellling Alexis she is toast.

Alexis and Ned talk about Helena’s threats, Ned thinks they should be taken seriously. Alexis calls Ned her night in shining armor. Then in walks Jr. to gloat about Grandfather’s doings with the distribution deal – offers Ned a loan. Alexis comes to the rescue, the only reason you’re sitting in that corner office is because of Michael, you don’t want to see Ned fail with L&B because he would then return to ELQ and take it back. AJ leaves all smug with himself. Hugs and Kisses – families!

Helena and Stephan: At the docks Helena tells Stephan to “muzzle your attack dog” – Alexis is starting to get on my nerves; good she is her own person. Helena: I should have gotten rid of her a long time ago.

Sonny and Roy: Roy apologized to Sonny for losing his temper, once he calmed down he thought about it and he does want to work for Sonny. Apology accepted.

Hannah and Roy: Same scene different day – don’t hurt Sonny; I have to do my job.

Elizabeth and Sonny: Elizabeth goes to Sonny tells him about her run in with Sorel, he tells her she can’t go back to her studio, she would be the safest in Jason’s penthouse, she refuses; go back to your grandmother’s, she refuses and asks Sonny if he would accept her staying at Kelley’s where she and Tammy can keep an eye on each other – he agrees and puts her under protective custody. “Your life is not going to be your own for a while”. Sonny continues with its my fault if I hadn't let Jason down he wouldn't have been in the snow for you to find, which put you in danger. I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Stephan and Helena’s BoyToy: Stephan waits for him on the docks, continues with his “your brother deserves better”, well Stephan got to him he drops that Helena is leaving town, but I can’t tell where she will be going? Stephan tells him his brother would be proud, I’ll be in touch”. Stephan walks away.

Helena and her BoyToy: On the docks she looks stressed she states how Alexis knows, she knows I’m sure about Lucky, she must be disposed of tomorrow.

Tomorrow: Helena plots the demise of Alexis; Luke returns; and more . . .
