Do you ever have a day watching GH where you think to yourself, "I'm glad I'm not today's updater 'cuz I'm wearing out my FF button on my remote?" Well, I was having that day, until I remembered…I *am* today's updater…oh well…
Our show opens with Chloe setting the mood in a lodge. Jax comes in. (It then takes 40 minutes before we get back to them…) He teases her about the bearskin rug incident…they end up kissing. Then she says she brought her "specialty" -- s'mores. Yet again, she's managed to remind him of Brenda. <> He shares the story of Brenda and s'mores (it's all she knew how to cook in house when she first moved into her house). He also says he can't hold every experience with Brenda sacred, or he'd never get to live life… Later we return to them sharing one of the most disgusting moments I've seen in my 15 years of watching this show… She's eating the s'mores and he asks whether she's using milk Chocolate or semi-sweet. She prompts him to taste for himself….from her mouth! Personally, if I were Ingo, I would have walked first! He carries her to bed and you can guess the rest…
Jason is not pleased that Carly brought Michael to his penthouse. Her pretense is that Michael can't sleep and she'll only stay until he does. Jason starts to read to him. We come back to them later, and Michael's asleep. Jason chews Carly out. She tries to tell him what she did at the party but he's not interested. He accuses her of putting Michael in the middle rather than keeping what's best for him in mind. She begs for his help, but he declines. Jason asks why she can't just stay away…she says because Michael needs him.
We see a replay of the incident: Faison is trying to get away in a boat. Luke comes running up. Faison tells Luke that Lucky is still alive. Mac comes running up shooting, Luke tries to stop Mac. While they struggle the boat explodes, and neither of them sees it. New stuff: Mac calls for search and rescue. Luke looks stunned. Mac tries to interrogate Luke about why he was there. Luke says Faison called him. He also points out that Faison was more useful alive. They argue a bit and Mac speculates that Luke was helping Faison escape. Luke storms off.
Bobbie sees Hannah and Roy on the docks. Hannah is begging for more information about Sonny, but Roy refuses to give it to her. He's trying to protect her from herself. She blathers on about loving Sonny (I tried not to FF, honest!) She thanks him for worrying about her…he hugs her and says he worries more than she'll ever know. As he walks away, he bumps into Bobbie. She asks what he was doing there. When we return from the commercial, they chit-chat about the weather and heading home. She tries to apologize to him for interfering, and he says he usually doesn't mind it.
Laura runs into Stefan on the docks. She tells him she misses him and they hug. She tells him she loves him. She can't promise forever, but she wants a new start. That seems good enough for him. They kiss, and as Luke walks by, he says, "Don't let me interrupt you." He reports that Faison is dead and leaves. She's awkward and tries to explain to Stefan that a part of her will always love Luke.
Later, Dara passes Stefan and Laura on the docks and lets them know that she's dropping the case against Helena. Stefan tries to say she's being played, but Dara isn't interested…a decent attorney has reasonable doubt based on Faison having the wig.
Felicia runs to the docks and Mac. There was no body…just ash. She worries that he's not really gone. Mac didn't see everything but tries to be reassuring that it's over. They speculate that Helena helped him, but Mac also reiterates that Faison was talking to Luke, not Helena in his last moments.
Luke sneaks onto Helena's yacht and holds a knife to her towel-boy's throat. He calls, "Helena, darling, are you home?" She comes out and offers to tell him whatever he wants to know, as long as she releases Andreas. Luke complies and Helena asks Towel Boy to leave. Luke demands to know what her connection to Faison is--she bought jewels from him. Luke tells her Faison is dead; she says she's not responsible and that Faison was overrated compared to Luke. She feels *LUCKY* to have survived her ordeal with him. Luke is caught by that last sentence, but leaves anyway.
Luke is flipping out and drinking in his office. Roy comes in. Luke (quite powerfully, I wish I could describe this better) explains that he would do *anything* to get his son back. He tells Roy what Faison said, but acknowledges that Faison is a good game player. Luke blames Mac for the fact that Faison didn't say more before the explosion. Luke was just starting to believe Lucky was dead. Now he's going to Amsterdam (where this whole mess started) and retrace Faison's steps until he finds Lucky or proves he is dead. (And no, he won't tell Laura until he knows for sure.)
Back at the Q's Michael is awake, and Carly is "reading" to him. She's really telling him about how much Jason loves him. (And by the way, how did she manage to get Michael out of the house, and once she did, why didn't she keep it that way!) Jason is writing a letter to Michael saying he loves him very much, even though by the time he reads it, he won't remember Jason anymore.
