Felicia makes a visit to Luke to discuss what they should do about the tape. They agree to wait a day to see if Faison is caught before she talks to Mac about what happened.
Helana visits Faison who is getting anxious to leave town and they share some 'affectionate' threats and few insults before they say goodbye. Faison obviously is not ammused by her latest powerplay over him however, muttering "I'm not done with you, not at all."
Alan talks to Carly about AJ, and, in the strangest comparison of the New Year, he explains that he too knows what it's like to love Jason more than AJ. He tries to convince her that there *is* nothing wrong with AJ, other than not being Jason, and she should try to make her marriage work.
And speaking of super-Jason...
Sorel (apparently having run out of lackeys) approaches Liz himself on the docks. He convinces her to stop and talk to him with the mention of Jason's safety. Suddenly, the brave and fearless Jason races to her recue, and with one quick swoop he grabs and restrains the evil Sorel. Jason tells his new favorite fan to leave, but she refuses. (remember, she doesn't like being told what to do, Jason.) So Jason lets Sorel go... but ONLY after warning him *very sternly* to stay away from Elizabeth. (Which was very pro-active of Jason, I think, since Sorel has proven himself a swell listener in the past. Right?)
Jason scolds Liz for not listening, which quickly and shockinglyturns into another episode of "I care about you Jason/I can't see you Liz" theatre. This time, Liz is the winner and her prizes are a restored friendship with Jason, a complimentary ride on his bike, deep conversation about adrenalin and "Icareaboutyou's" tossed back and forth by all! :-)
Back at the Q's mansion, Carly explains to Alan that he *was* right before... that Jason *is* better than AJ.
Enter the "loving" husband,(that's AJ) who asks Alan to leave. He then proceeds to ask Carly if she has made an appointment for a psychologist yet, quickly followed by "Have you taken your medication yet?" (Hey, where can I get me a guy like this?) Carly threatens back with humiliating him at every business turn he makes. She asks him why he doesn't just let her and Michael go, as it would be easier than dealing with her struggle to leave. To which he replies "Easier, sure. But not *nearly* as satisfying. Your so desperate to get out of here, it's worth whatever it takes to keep you. It's what you deserve." (Ahhh... the love of a good man.)
Bobbie chats briefly with Tony and she agrees to let him take Lucus on vacation this upcoming summer.
Monica speaks with Bobbie about Carly's performance at the ELQ party and demands that Bobbie try to "reason" with her daughter or else Carly will face the full wrath of the Q's.
Roy visits Luke and they discuss the Luke/Felicia situation and the mess with the videotape.
Luke then gets a phone call from Faison who asks to meet him and Luke insists on going to the meeting alone.
Mac brings Helana in for questioning, and is obviously, as Helana put it "stressed" over the Faison situation. Mac offers to reduce her charge to manslaughter for the death of Katherine, if she discloses where Faison is being hidden. Dara steps in however, stating Mac doesn't have the authority to do that and releases Helana. Mac then gets a call that Faison has been sighted an Mac races out.
In the hall outside Macs office, Hannah overhears
Taggert talking about Sonny on the phone. She asks for information about the call, and Taggert refuses to comply.
And speaking of the continuing blunders of the FBI, Larkin visits Roy at Luke's Club (hmmm, does a cover mean NOTHING to the FBI?). Larkin accuses Roy of not doing enough to take down Sonny, and suggests it's because he's too busy with Bobbie. He then suggests that it is no coincidence that the only person Roy has gotten information on so far is Bobbie's fiance. (Um, that's Jerry Jacks, for those who already forgot.) Sweet Roy is NOT ammused by the comments and flexes his operative muscle, threatening to have Larkin transferred if he impeads *his* investigation the way he did Hannah's.
Felicia goes to visit Bobbie and runs into Tony, who chat briefly about Mac/Fasion. She ask Bobbie for advice about her situation with Luke and Mac. Bobbie tells her that sometimes, even though feelings may be strong, if the time is wrong there is no way to act on the feelings without being hurt yourself, or hurting those you love.
Next, we see Luke racing to pier 39 where Faison says the words we have all been waiting for...
"You've been a worthy adversary Spencer. I'll leave you with this. Lucky, your wonderful son is alive."
Suddenly shots are fired at Faison and he takes off in his little boat. Luke see's it's Mac shooting and fights with him to stop him from hurting Faison.
Alan and Aj have a discussion about the first snowman AJ ever built, which turns into another talk about Carly. AJ assures Alan that he knows what he is doing and that Carly isn't going anywhere.
Later Monica and Alan try to figure out what to do to help 'save' AJ from Carly. Monica says she had an idea and asks Alan what he thinks about getting a divorce. (think the new mixed-married plans, sigh.)
And Roy meets with Hannah (on the docks of course!). Bobbie strolls along and sees him hugging and comforting the lovelorn fed.
And FINALLY it ends with Luke and Mac still fighting over Faison. :-)
