General Hospital Update for Monday, 27-Dec-1999

Not a terribly exciting day, but here goes....

I. Jason and Co.
Carly runs into Sonny on the dock. They once again rehash their betrayal of Jason. Carly is optimistic about Jason forgiving her; Sonny is not.

Jason is in the studio with Liz, who asks what’s bothering him. He talks in circles about whether he can trust Sonny again. Liz goes to get Jason breakfast.

Liz runs into Nik – same old story. Nik doesn’t think Jason is good enough for Liz; Liz says it’s her life. Yadda, yadda, yadda…Meanwhile, Bobbie stops by the studio to check on Jason. She tells him that Liz does not need to reputation of being known as his girlfriend.

Nik goes home and finds Stefan waiting to discuss family business. Nik tries to dismiss him, but Stefan wants to talk. They rehash the Liz situation and Laura arrives.

Liz returns to the studio and Jason tells her that it’s time for him to leave. Jason tells Liz that it is time for him to figure out how to live his life and that he’s grateful for what she’s done for him. Liz makes a speech about how being with him showed her how she wants to live her life – alone, in the studio. Well, not exactly alone, she really meant alone with him. He tells her that it’s his turn to learn how to live his life. Jason leaves.

Carly goes to see Bobbie at the hospital. She really wants an update on Jason. When Bobbie is not as sympathetic as Carly expects, Carly leaves. She runs into Luke at the elevator. They exchange sarcastic “Happy Holidays”. Luke is bearing tax papers for Kelly’s. Bobbie asks if he’s going to tell her what happened when he and Felicia were kidnapped.

Nik tells Laura about what happened at the hospital party and earlier that day. Laura is sympathetic.

Sonny and Hannah cross paths. Hannah tries to talk to Sonny and he brushes her off. Both leave and Sorrel enters. He and his henchman discuss taking Sonny out, but decide Jason is an easier mark since he and his girlfriend live around the corner.

Liz is at the studio mooning over Jason. There’s a knock at the door. She thinks it’s Jason, but it’s Stefan.

Luke gives Bobbie non-answers about the kidnapping.

II. Faison, the Scorpios, etc.
Mac visits Faison and tells him that he will be convicted. Mac plans to play it by the book.

Felicia leaves her house as Maxie searches for Georgie’s lost shoe. Maxie finds the gift Faison had delivered. It’s a videotape. Mac comes home and Maxie tells him she does not know who the tape is from – Mac suggests that it’s from Bobbie.

Felicia visits Faison. She taunts him about being the prisoner. He makes threats about Mac finding out about her and Luke. She leaves.

Mac and Maxie have found the remote. As they prepare to watch, Dara arrives. Maxie and Georgie go upstairs to look for Georgie’s other shoe. Dara is concerned about Mac’s influence on Faison’s trial and wants to move him somewhere else. Mac says everything will be by the book. Dara leaves.

Felicia goes to the hospital and runs into Luke (after he has not answered Bobbie’s questions).

Mac sits down to watch the video and sees the footage of Felicia and Luke.
