General Hospital Update for Friday, 24-Dec-1999

Chloe and Ned are talking about her little faux pas of giving Jax the yacht that remind him of Brenda. (Chloe is wearing a hideous outfit. Isn't she supposed to be a designer?) She doesn't want to compete with a memory like Brenda. Ned takes her to Jax's where Mr. and Mrs. Jax are decorating the tree and the apartment. Chloe and Jax are conveniently left alone to talk it out, which they do.

Emily and Juan arrive at the Christmas party and Dave Koz is there. (Lots of free advertising for his new CD which I refuse to repeat, it was way too obvious and way overdone. It didn't fit at all.) Juan goes up to him and acts like Koz is Elvis or something and asks for a lunch and gets turned down.

The parade is just about to start and Jason appears. Liz and he are teasing about her hat and Nikolas jumps in and tells him to get his hands off her. They scuffle and Jason punches him right after Nikolas announces to the entire hospital that Jason and Liz are sleeping together. Carly and Michael walk in from the elevator and look shocked. BTW, Sonny helped to break up the fight and so did Stefan and that was about as exciting as it got. Liz and Jason left, and Nik joined the parade. Emily was hurt that Liz hadn't mentioned anything to her about Jason.

Felicia is wearing a sling from her gunshot wound and looking at phone book numbers to get her girls a flight home. Mac surprises her with the girls and they go to the GH party. Tony is the Santa and Alan reads the story. Cut to Faison in jail asking a thug to give a video to the Scorpios. He goes to the Scorpios and the door is conveniently unlocked or pretty easy to open etc. (of course it WOULD be unlocked, why would Mac lock it with his wife just recently home from being kidnapped and shot? Come on, do they thing we're idiots?! At least make it look believable!) He leaves the video under the tree addressed to the Scorpios.

Bobbie gets a gift from Jerry, a nice dish filled with licorice. She tries to talk to Carly about what happened with Carly and Carly just tells her to wish her a Merry Christmas and leave it at that. Even the Quartermaine's get behind Jason and Edward announces that of course he's behind Jason because the Cassadine boy provoked him and he didn't attack any Quartermaines.

Roy tells Luke about moving into the rented room at Laura's. Luke gives his blessing. Luke goes over to Laura's to spend time with Lulu and Stefan sees them all looking happy together through the door window.

Sonny is looking pretty depressed in his penthouse all alone. Earlier when he was walking by Kelly's Hannah wished him a Merry Christmas and he answered not this year. Hannah is alone on the docks and Roy gives her a shoulder to cry on. (Wah,wah, she brought it on herself.)

Tammy and Mike exchange gifts and it looks like their relationship is blooming.

Next week the Scorpios open the video and Mike goes out with Gertrude.
