General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 15-Dec-1999

Taggert and Mac come into Luke's jail cell. Luke is sleeping. He wakes up when Mac kicks him. Luke asks Mac if he has found Felicia. Mac thinks that Felicia is just a pawn for Luke. He just uses her to get to Faison. Mac takes Luke's collar in both his hands and it looks like he may choke him. After throwing Luke back down on his cot, Mac asks him a question. If he lets him out of jail, would he keep in contact with Mac? Luke says ok, but he works alone. Luke tells Mac that the reason that Felicia wasn't telling him that Faison was stalking her, was because she wanted to protect him. Mac tells the guard that Luke is released.

Bobbie walks into Luke's office. She asks Roy where Luke is. He tells Bobbie that Luke is in jail. Bobbie remains calm, almost aloof, and guesses why Luke was arrested. Roy tells her that Felicia was apparently close to Port Charles all this time. Bobbie gets mad and frustrated. She rants about how much easier it would have been if Luke, Mac and Roy had worked together from the start. She thinks Felicia would be home by now. After she calms down, she asks Roy why all the men she loves wind up in jail. When Bobbie leaves, Roy smacks himself in the face with both hands, looking very frustrated and sad. When Luke comes in, he tells Roy how upset he is that Faison has had all this time to get away with Felicia and the diamonds. He is going to Switzerland because that is where Faison does his business as Herr Krieg. He thinks he has Felicia there. Roy wants to go with him but Luke insists he stay in Port Charles and watch the club. While Luke looks through all his passports, deciding which one to use, Faison calls. He says that he is sorry he missed him yesterday. Luke starts screaming, wanting to know where Felicia is. Faison tells him to calm down and he'll tell him all he needs to know.

At Jax's penthouse, Alexis answers the phone. Apparently, the person calling doesn't want Alexis, so when Jax comes in, he takes the phone. It's a safe assumption that it is Jerry he is talking to, judging from the cryptic questions we hear. When Alexis returns, Jax says it was a wrong number. She nods and understands. Bobbie comes to ask Jax if he has heard from Jerry. He tells her he just did. He also saw him leave on the docks. Bobbie tells him that she went to the docks but Jerry had already left. She had been tempted to leave town with him, but she didn't want to uproot Lucas and didn't want to leave Carly. Jax tells her that even though she was only with Jerry for a short while, he was better off because of her. She cries. Jax tells her she's still part of the Jacks family.

Felicia wakes up in a new location. It looks like a jail cell. It is obviously soundproof because when she goes to the window in the door and starts screaming, the camera takes the audience outside so that we can't hear. She is sitting on a cot when Faison comes in. He apologizes for having to drug her and move her to this new place. She deduces that Luke got too close. Faison tells her that Mac arrested Luke. She says that Mac and Luke will find her. As Faison is leaving, he asks Felicia to stop banging on the door. It brings back bad memories. (Assuming here that he's referring to his love of years ago) She lays down and cries.

At L&B's new headquarters, Ned, Chloe, Juan and Emily all try to envision what the place will look like when it is finished. Juan brightens up when Ned says he can make his first executive decision. His bubble is quickly burst when he learns the decision is which cleaning products should be purchased. Later, after Alexis is there, Chloe leaves. Alexis and Ned flirt and smooch. Juan mops the floor and pouts about how he isn't appreciated at L&B. He tells Emily that he'll be noticed and soon.

It's a typical morning at the Q's. Edward is ranting about the house not being decorated enough for Christmas yet. He wants the place to look perfect for Michael's first Christmas there. AJ says he can't help because he's busy all day. Alan and Monica are arguing about GH and the Chief of Staff position. Carly drinks juice, looks at Christmas decorations and smirks. Later, alone with Michael, Carly decorates the tree. She tells her son that she is sorry but Jason won't be with them for Christmas. Edward comes in and calls for Letitia to take Michael into the kitchen. He tries to convince Carly to have lunch with AJ and the Dynatech representatives. She declines. Edward urges her to reconsider, saying that her presence would help the company. She says it's not her company. Edward says that one day it will be Michael's. Carly is still decorating the tree when AJ comes home. Without him even asking, she says she won't attend the luncheon. He says he could use her support. She says support goes two ways. She wants a divorce. He won't give her one. She says she'll be cordial to his family, but refuses to play the good little wife in public. AJ tells Carly that she is not ever to take Michael off the property. If she does, she'll be sorry. He gives her an evil, menacing look and leaves. Later, Carly is still decorating the tree and talking to Michael and Lila. She finds something she had given to Jason, engraved with his name. Lila explains he gave it to her. Alan and Monica come home and admire the tree.

Chloe is at Jax's penthouse. He tells her that he heard from Jerry. He explains why he is so devastated that Jerry had to leave town. When Jerry turned eighteen, he left home. After that, Jax would only see him every once in a while and usually for only a short while. Since Jerry came to Port Charles, Jax saw him all the time. He starts to cry. Chloe hugs him.

At the brownstone, Bobbie is carrying a huge box. Roy enters. He helps her with the box. She tells him she's getting rid of all of Jerry's things before Lucas comes home. Roy remarks that Jerry has a good lawyer and that he may get off. Bobbie reminds him of the boat she was watching from the docks yesterday. Roy asks if Jerry jumped bail. Bobbie plays it cool and says that's the "rumor." Roy says he hears a lot of rumors in this town. Bobbie says most of them are not worth repeating. He says he won't repeat anything. Roy lets Bobbie know that Luke left town to find Felicia. Bobbie expresses her frustration with her life recently. Not only is she worried about Lucas and Jerry, but now she is frightened for Felicia, Luke and Mac. She wishes she could do something about Felicia's disppearance. Bobbie tells Roy how she met Jerry. They laugh about it, but when Bobbie looks like she's about to become emotional, Roy offers to stay with her. She tells him to go.

Felicia is sitting on the floor by the door. She is remembering Faison's words as he described how his first love died. She looks up and he is looking at her through the window in the door. She stands up and says "you're going to kill me."
