General Hospital Update for Monday, 6-Dec-1999

Felicia tries to "play nice" with Faison, thanking him for the picture and acknowledging that it helps her miss them a little less. He explains that it was taken from afar so that the girls would not be scared. Faison tells her he loves her and will find a way to prove it to her.

Luke tries to convince Bobbie that Felicia's message was a fake. After all, why didn't she call Bobbie after the wedding snafu? (As he replayed the message a bunch of times, I could hear a pop between sentences, like a tape recorder being switched on and off.) Luke tells Bobbie about Faison's threats against Felicia. Bobbie is surprised that they didn't tell Mac…but Luke says it's for Bubba's own protection. Luke tells Bobbie that he has something of Faison's, and he won't get it back if Felicia is hurt. All he needs for his plan is some backup. Right on cue Roy comes in.

Jax is back from Brussels and he made a lot of money on the exchange rate. Ned and Chloe come in, kisses are shared all around…Chloe admits to Jax that she tried to sell her company, but Gertrude stopped her. He's glad, and a bit amused that Gertrude turned out to be good for *something* after all…

Liz takes Jason to her studio to rest. She's worried that he needs more help than she can give. He is insistent that Sonny not be involved any further, and cannot know where he is. Sonny has the medicine that Bobbie said Jason would need, so Liz goes to get it. (Jason reminds her again that Sonny can't know where he is, no matter what.)

Carly and Hannah exchange words at Sonny's. Sonny is yelling "Get Out!" Carly says "Bye!" to Hannah thinking Sonny is throwing Hannah out….and gets a little egg on her face when he tells her, no he wants her out. Sonny tells Carly that Hannah is none of her concern. Sonny is livid and after Carly leaves he tells Hannah he's known for months.

Roy and Bobbie chat a bit while Luke is out of the room. When Luke comes back, Bobbie leaves, and the two friends share a cute argument about Luke needing backup…Luke's a master of disguise. Roy says he hopes it doesn't include a red jacket *grin*. Luke points out that Faison would be dead if Roy hadn't stopped him…it sounds like Roy will help Luke in his plans.

Hannah and Sonny continue their conversation (confrontation?):
H: Insists she would never hurt Sonny.
S: Plays the tape of her saying Sonny was her bust, etc…
H: It was just an act. She was stringing them along so she could stay w/ Sonny.
S: Asks if she gets paid extra for acting.
H: She tries to replay her version of the truth, but he isn't listening.
S: Tells her he set her up w/ the information about Marino.
H: Tries to remind him of the good times like the island.
S: Reminds her of all of the times he's rejected her.
H: "You loved me."
S: "You can tell your bosses that I'm finished with you"
H: "I can't go back. I had to choose between my job and you. I chose you."
S: "You chose wrong."
H: (pathetically sobbing a la Brenda in the rain) "I love you. I love you."
S: Tells her she isn't worth anything to anyone and sits down at his desk to do some paperwork.
H: Begs him to listen, but he is ignoring her. She leaves and he looks worn out.

Jax and Alexis go to visit Jerry. The feds come in, but aren't willing to discuss any type of deal. Jerry had a chance to go clean last time and didn't use it. Jax offers himself in exchange for Jerry's freedom, but they turn him down. Jerry is annoyed that Jax would consider that. The feds inform Jax that they're taking Jerry to Washington D.C. for further questioning.

Johnny goes to Sonny to say that Jason wasn't at the box car. Sonny chews him out for not being able to follow such a simple instruction: take the medicine to Jason. As they argue, there is a knock on the door-Liz coming for the meds. Sonny is very understanding that Jason doesn't want him to know where he is, but offers Liz a ride, which she refuses. He tells her that if Jason gets worse, tell him, don't listen to what Jason has said.

Hannah goes to Kelly's and tells Tammy that she came clean with Sonny and needs her old room back. Tammy tells here there's no room for her. Carly comes in as Hannah is leaving and lays into her asking if it was worth it. Hannah runs out crying-straight into Taggert.

Faison tells Felicia she's free to go. She thinks it's a trick and decides to stay. He says that he knows it's fear that is keeping here there, but he hopes some day it will be her love for him.

Roy questions Luke's plan to break into the phone company…after all has Luke even used a computer before? (I thought they missed an obvious chance to talk about Lucky here…) Luke wants to call some of Faison's contacts to give the impression that he's going to sell Faison's diamonds.

Chloe and Ned anxiously await news of whether the plea offer for Jerry worked. Alexis comes in totally dejected. Back to the jail, Jerry tells Jax not to go down for him. Jax assures Jerry that they will find a way to work things out and gives him a big hug. Jerry says, "If you try to kiss me, I'm calling the guards." Jerry asks Jax to keep an eye on Bobbie and Lucas for him. Jax says he will do that and keep an eye on their parents. Exit Jerry. Bobbie comes in, Jax tells her she's too late.

Sonny and Johnny take Hannah's things out of the penthouse. Johnny offers to burn them, Sonny says to return them to her if he can find her easily. He also reminds Johnny to change the locks and then returns to his moping around. (I can't decide…are we supposed to be rooting for these two to work it out?)

Liz gives Jason the pills and tells him to get some sleep. He's looking pretty bad at this point.

Carly asks Tammy if she knows anything about Jason. She's worried. Liz calls to tell Tammy she won't be in to work and hangs up abruptly when Tammy presses for details. Carly looks like she's about to figure out that Liz knows where Jason is.
