General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 24-Nov-1999

Jax visits Jerry in jail. Jerry is relieved to hear that Bobbie and Lucas are holding up ok. He admits he should have gotten out of his dealings the first time Jax asked him about it. Jax and Alexis will help him, but Jax wants Jerry to admit he has a problem. Jerry asks Jax to tell Bobbie that he loves her, but he doesn't want her to know yet that he is guilty. He wants to be the one to tell her.

Bobbie sees today's headlines about Jerry being arrested. Carly comes to visit her. Bobbie tells her how she found Jerry's plans for their honeymoon. She is amazed that he chose Paris, because that is where she secretly hoped they would go. She'll be going to visit Jerry this afternoon because only immediate family is allowed this morning. Carly asks if she still believes that Jerry is innocent. Bobbie explains to her that Jerry is in a highly competitive business world and she thinks someone has set him up. Jax comes to see Bobbie He tells her that Jerry is concerned about her and Lucas. So are Jane and John. Bobbie says that they'll all get through this.

At the station, Mac tells an officer that Felicia is out of town. If she calls and he's still at a meeting, he should get a number where she can be reached.

At Sonny's penthouse, Jason accepts a delivery of a fruit basket. It's from Mike. Sonny is dreading Thanksgiving. He hates that Hannah is using Mike to get closer to him. Carly arrives. Sonny wants her to wait at Jason's. Before she leaves, she wants to ask Jason a question: is he sorry? He says no. She grins. Neither is she. Carly leaves. Sonny asks what that was all about. Jason says it's probably a total disaster. (talking about kiss, I'm assuming)

Jason comes to visit Bobbie. He tells her that he knew that Jerry was laundering money for Moreno. Bobbie is taken aback. What does he mean? He apologizes for not telling her sooner. He has had proof for a long time. Bobbie asks if Jason was going to turn Jerry in. Jason says no, but he knew that eventually he would be arrested. Jason is sorry that he was going to let Bobbie marry Jerry, but he gave his word to someone that he wouldn't tell. Bobbie asks how long Jerry has been lying to her. Jason says he found records going back six months. Jason feels bad that he let Jerry hurt Bobbie. Bobbie says that Jerry wasn't made to do what he did. Jerry asks if there is anything he can do. Bobbie tells him to tell Carly if he loves her. Jason says that he isn't good at imagining things, but he can't imagine his life without Carly.

On the docks, Roy sits on a bench. Hannah comes along. She says she needs his help. She's being taken off the Corinthos case and someone else is taking it. She asks if it is him. He tells her to do herself a favor - forget Corinthos and leave town. She says she loves him, but she's afraid he'll eventually find out that she works for the FBI. Roy tells Hannah to walk away. Hannah tells Roy that Sonny is really a decent person. She never thought that anyone in his line of work could be so kind. She asks Roy that if he is assigned to Sonny's case, please watch over him. Roy says they should not be seen talking to each other in public. He leaves.

Felicia tells Faison that Mac will find her soon. Faison replies that by the time Mac realizes she's missing, her trail will be cold. He takes her restraints off. She slugs him and runs to the door. There is no way for her to open it. He gets close to her and she pushes him away. He has faith that one day she'll ask him to kiss her. Felicia says that Mac and Luke won't have the pleasure of killing him, because she'll do it first. He puts her restraints back on. She calls him a freak. He leaves. Faison returns with food. Felicia throws it across the room. Faison plays a tape for Felicia. It is of her calling Luke, telling him she's leaving for the Caribbean.

At Jax's penthouse, he calls and leaves a message for Alexis to call him with any news. Chloe arrives. Jax tells her about his visit to Jerry. He says Jerry admitted he's guilty. The feds offered him a deal to testify against Moreno, but Jerry turned them down. He fears retaliation. Jax tells Chloe that Alexis says the feds have an air-tight case. He also tells her that Bobbie doesn't know any of this. She still believes he's innocent. Chloe thinks that Jax should stop worrying about everyone else for a short while. She asks him to lie down on the couch and starts to massage his temples. He decides he'd rather sit up. He kisses her. They start undressing each other. He starts to carry her to the bedroom, but the phone rings. It's John. He wants Jax to be with Jane. She's having a bad time. Jax asks Chloe to stay and wait for him to return. When Jax comes back, he says that Jane is upset because John and Jax knew about Jerry but nobody told her. They do more kissing. Chloe leaves. Jax calls someone and tells them to liquidate all his European assets.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Carly tells Michael about Jason kissing her last night. She says they'll be going home to "daddy" really soon. AJ approaches, but hesitates and listens for a moment. When he comes in, he asks Carly what she was telling Michael about daddy. Carly makes up a lie about her telling Michael that he has to work late. AJ gets a call. He tells the caller that there is a security camera on the crane. Letitia takes Michael for his nap. Carly tells AJ she hopes Edward doesn't interrupt them because she wants to talk to him. She wants AJ to be realistic. They tried, but their marriage didn't work. She thinks they need time apart. She wants a separation. She explains that she feels guilty when she has to reject him. AJ reminds her that this is the life she wanted. He says this is the way it's going to be. AJ threatens to send her back to Ferncliff if she tries something. He *will* have custody of his son.

Hannah enters Sonny's penthouse to find Mike trying to convince him to have Thanksgiving dinner at his place. Mike won a turkey and wants to cook for the three of them. Hannah thinks it's a great idea, but Sonny keeps saying no. He finally gives in. When they are alone, Hannah tells Sonny that she loves him. He clenches his teeth and hugs her.

Bobbie visits Jerry in jail. They stand for quite a few seconds, just looking at each other. They finally embrace. Jerry says he's so sorry. After he expresses his concern for Lucas, Jerry tells Bobbie that Alexis and Jax are working on his case. Bobbie tells him to stop lying to her. She says "you're guilty, aren't you?" He replies "yeah, I am." Outside the visitors' room, Mac asks if his wife called yet. He is told "not yet." Bobbie asks Jerry why he did it. Jerry tries to explain that he likes to live on the edge. He had planned to give up that life when they got back from their honeymoon. He swears it will never happen again. Bobbie has a hard time believing him. She leaves in tears. Outside the door, she rushes into the arms of her brother.
