General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 10-Nov-1999

Jax meets Alexis on the docks and he tells her that he's rented a room at an inn on the outskirts of town. They're kissing (for just public view) and Jerry and Bobbie come along. They talk about toning down the rehearsal dinner and Jerry tells Jax he's in big trouble. Alexis and Bobbie leave and Jerry tells Jax he still can't figure out a honeymoon spot. Chloe comes to the stairs on the docks and Alexis meets her there. She tells her that she'll have Jax free by the count of 200 and she does. Chloe and Jax are very happy to be going where they are going and they leave for 'heaven.'

Tony comes to check out Helena and tells Stefan and Laura that he sees no change. In the hall outside her room he tells them that Ari is still alive and Helena sits up in bed. They go downstairs and talk about her unchanged condition and Tony gives Laura a friendly watning about the Cassadines. He leaves. Helena sneaks downstairs and surprise! is caught by Stefan and Laura (who visibly jumps at the sight of Helena).

Monica has is out with Carly and tells her she knows she only married A.J. for his money. She mixes it up with Carly for a while, correcting her grammar etc. then Monica goes in to complain about it to Alan. (BORING! Stop complaining and do something about it)

Sonny feeds Hannah the bait about a shipment coming in at 10:00. Of course she leaves immediately to tell her bosses and tells Sonny she's going to a sale at her favorite store. Jason comes over and tells Sonny that Hannah changed into a suit at Kelly's and went downtown. They show Hannah on the dock talking on the phone as agent Scott and Mike comes up to her. She tells Mike she's going for a job interview to be an assistant to the vice president and Mike buys it and also agrees that he won't tell Sonny. (Are these guys clueless or what?) Carly comes over to get in Sonny's face again and Jason is put in the middle telling Carly to stop and Sonny not to blame Carly for Hannah's betrayal.

The best scene by far, though, was Jax and Chloe about to make love. They are undressing and it's really sexy (anything Jax does is sexy) and then all of the sudden Chloe says she's tingling. Jax tells her that's good and she says not that kind of tingling. She starts itching all over and he asks her if it's the bear rug they're laying on and she nods. He's laughing and she's itching. It was priceless. (Is anyone else just a little sad that Jax rarely mentions Brenda who was the supposed love of his life? I'm happy he's moving on, but you would think he would be thinking a little about Brenda as he goes to the next level with Chloe.)

They also had a scene with Nikolas asking Liz to set a date for the birthday dinner. She looks uncomfortable and asks if Emily and Juan are going to come along. Strangely, Emily and Juan show up on the dock at that very moment (everyone is on the dock these days, you'd think they'd have more than 4 sets). Juan suggests that they close Kelly's and have a private dinner with dancing and fun. Liz looks sad and Nik is angry. Juan feels bad when he finds out that they did that just before Lucky died. Oh well.

Tomorrow's episode: Chloe is under her coat and won't come out, Helena is caught.
