General Hospital Update for Monday, 8-Nov-1999

Todays show opens with Jax and Chloe kissing.

Bobbie greets Jerry at Luke's. She introduces him to Roy. It's awkward as Jerry tries to figure out who this guy is.

AJ says he's known about Carly and Jason all along. Since Carly will lie, he asks Jason, the original truth teller to explain what's going on. Jason tells him that he gave up Michael, not Carly, and if AJ doesn't like it, too damn bad.

Sonny wakes up Hannah from her nightmare. She was screaming, "I didn't. I didn't." Sonny wants to know what she didn't do. She said he had a dream that he thought she had stopped loving him…and she didn't.

Luke serves drinks to Bobbie, Roy, and Jerry…conveniently brining Jerry the wrong drink. Jerry and Roy chitchat about what brought him back to PC. Roy says he just got out of jail. They chat some more, and Roy leaves them alone. Jerry kisses Bobbie. Bobbie worries that she'll never hear the end of it from Luke. They hightail it out of there to go home and be alone.

Jax and Chloe decide to wait (again!) while continuing to kiss. They're cold…but they can wait … it's only a year. Then they decide if they're going to freeze to death anyway, why not go ahead? Jax says it's a known fact that vigorous physical activity is the best way to prevent hypothermia.

Felicia drops by Luke's in her '40s getup. They explain to Roy that she's writing the memoirs of a '40s socialite. (I was a little baffled…they explained this like he wouldn't know who Lila Quartermaine was…) She explains that she's back to work and finishing up her book. Luke tries (not too subtly) to get Roy to leave them alone.

Felicia explains to Luke that she's trying to get her life back on track-and that includes her and Luke being just buddies. They'll work together against Faison; he'll assist her with the book. They seal the deal with a swing dance…to a CD that Luke had on ice ("It's cool").

Sonny has to leave the penthouse. Hannah tries (not subtly) to get him to stay, throwing herself at him. I have to say, it was kind of pathetic, IMNSHO. Of course, he stays.

AJ tells Carly to come home with him now or not at all. Carly tells Jason that all she ever wanted was what was best for Michael. He says he understands. She leaves with AJ.

After they finish their "business" Sonny leaves Hannah. She tries to find out where he's going. He asks her if she wants to be his bodyguard now-he is supposed to be teasing, but it seems cruel. He tells her to go back to sleep and only have good dreams this time.

Back to Jax and Chloe…still making out (can you say "sweeps"? I knew you could) Jax asks her breathlessly if she's sure. He tries to remind her of everything she could lose. She's still sure. They get really passionate (oh my!). A fisherman comes up to them…says he saw their fire and thought they might be in need of rescuing…but he can come back for them in the morning if they want.

AJ asks Carly if she faked their trip to Hawaii…he thought they had really connected. It's clear that he wants a real marriage, not one of convenience. She's being really pissy to him about it. AJ tells Carly if she leaves, she won't be taking Michael with her. She backs down and says starting tomorrow morning she'll try harder to be the perfect Q wife.

Sonny and Jason meet on the docks. Marino wasn't busted…but Sonny KNOWS that Hannah read the file. Jason continues to question the wisdom of trying to use Hannah.

Luke's has closed up for the night, and we see Luke drinking at the bar while Roy is cleaning up behind the bar. Claude gave Roy the keys to close up (Claude doesn't think Luke is in any shape to do it himself), so now Luke has tomorrow's reason to fire Claude *grin*. Luke invites Roy to be his partner again. Roy says he'll hold his answer until Luke sobers up. Luke says he will still mean it.

Today's wrap-up shots are Jason on the docks looking lonely. Sonny watches Hannah sleep, touching her hair, then wrapping his hands around her throat, than gently again touching her cheek. He smells her hair, and she sighs and settles into his hands.
