General Hospital Update for Monday, 1-Nov-1999

Today's show opens with Jax and Chloe making out…Ned walks in throws Jax out, jumps on top of Chloe, and in walks Gertrude.

Liz runs over to Kelly's for an emergency--but it's her surprise 18th birthday party. She has a great talk with Audrey about how well she's turned out. Nik comes in late, apologizes to Liz, Em, and Juan for being rude the other day. He and Liz go outside and chat a bit…she understands where he's at. They hug and make up, then he kisses her. She is stunned and asks, "Where did that come from?"

Faison confronts Luke and Felicia. She takes credit for the lead pipe in Faison's recent de-shoeing and being thrown off of a cliff by Roy and Luke. He is not amused--he wants the diamonds back.

Carly gets Jason to tell her how it went telling Sonny that Hannah was in the FBI. (I missed Friday, so sorry if this is choppy….*flame to Friday updater who did not post yet--for their last THREE updates!*) Anyway, I digress…Jason says Sonny took it well, appreciated his loyalty. Jason feels bad for having to crush his best friend that way.

Hannah let herself into Sonny's with her key. Sonny is playing it cool…and cruel! She has to tell him something….big buildup. Bimbo's news: "I'm ready to move in with you." He looks a bit stunned that that's all she has to say. (I think our boy would have forgiven her if she came clean in time…)

Chloe lays into Gertrude about trespassing. A minor pillow fight ensues, while Ned calls security. In strolls Jax, now fully clothed, followed by (from a different door…) Alexis wearing a face masque. Finally security comes in, Alexis threatens to sue the hotel, and Gertrude is promptly dragged out.

Luke and Felicia continue to discuss Faison and end up in a big (mutual) deep kiss. Felicia freaks out, she loves Mac with all of her heart, but enjoys Luke too. She thinks she should stay away, but Luke tells her he would miss her. They cry and hug. Roy walks in on the hug…they jump apart looking awfully guilty. Felicia dashes off, leaving Roy behind smirking, "I haven't missed much."

Nikolas apologizes to Liz. She understands, but she makes it very clear that she is still in love with Lucky, and does not want to be more than friends with him. He understands, and is getting awkward again. He gives her her gift--a small jewelry box, which she does not open. Nik leaves, and Liz goes back inside to blow out her candles.

Sonny tells Hannah that she gives too much, and he hasn't given her much. He tells her he loves her. He even dismissed his guards for the evening because he trusts her. She has done so much for him, without question…followed him to a remote island, followed him to jail…never left his side, always believed in him, even took on the whole FBI for him. Mike thinks she's the best thing that ever happened to him….he just keeps going and going…she looks more and more guilty. He tells her, he's hers--she owns him now. He wants her to stay the night, but she wants to wait so things can be perfect…he says he'll walk her back to Kelly's. He sends her ahead to the elevator, while he gets something out of his desk (I missed what it was).

Alexis and Ned share a good post-Gertrude cuddle.

Jax says he's almost sorry that Gertrude didn't catch them.

Liz is out alone on the docks, realizing that she's finally 18 and on her own, but without Lucky. Jason comes by and listens while she talks. She's still in PC, not NY, and Lucky is nowhere.

Sonny walks Hannah back to Kelly's. She worries aloud that now that he has said he loves her, she'll do or say something wrong, and he'll take it back. She's shivering, he sends her inside…before he drags her back to the penthouse with him.

Chloe wants to know why Jax is happy about almost being caught. He wants the charade to end. She worries that they will miss their chance to be together because of their scheme. (Please, we should only be so lucky!)

Luke fills Roy in on the "Felicia situation"…he should get points for style…she's the commissioner's wife. He tells of how he fell in love with her (the night she got Lucy's shoe back) and how she helped him through the time right after Lucky "died", giving him a reason to get up in the morning…

My cable cut out with three minutes to go, but that's basically the whole day!
