General Hospital Update for Monday, 11-Oct-1999

Our show opens with Carly confronting Mr. FBI guy on the docks. She's fishing for details on his relationship with Hannah, but he is only giving her the canned story: he misses her, cares about her, doesn't want to see her hurt by the big scary mobster-man. Carly accuses him and Hannah of working together to con Sonny out of some cash.

Hannah encourages Sonny to take advantage of his "big break" and go clean. He tells her that he is careful and can take good care of himself. As usual, the conversation ends up with them in the sack. 'Nuff said, I'm sick of these two.

Jax's confrontation w/ Jerry continues. They are interrupted by a phone call from their mother--she wants wedding details. Jerry tips his hand that he's planning an isolated island honeymoon w/ Bobbie.

Ray watches Bobbie from outside the widows of Kelly's. She comes out to serve the people on the patio and comments that the man disappeared. (Guess it wouldn't be a soap without a lot of near misses before they spring this big surprise on us…) Carly comes over all flushed from her argument w/ the FBI guy (catching on that I don't know his name? *grin*) She invites her mother to a charity function…Bobbie says she'd rather have a GI series than go to one of those. They talk about Carly needing to focus on her marriage more. Carly's comeback: her job is to be the perfect wife, socially prominent, etc. *gag*

After Carly goes, Bobbie sits daydreaming, rembering telling her friends that Ray was taking her to Hawaii on her honeymoon. Cute young curly haired Bobbie….it was fun to see the disco again!

Events unfold after Katherine's fall. Mrs. Lansberry tells Stefan she saw a blonde woman on the perripet before she saw Katherine fall. Stefan tells Mrs. L not to tell anyone else that. He runs upstairs to find Laura, obviously confused, swearing that yes they did argue, but she was on her way downstairs when she heard the scream. Back downstairs, Nik is freaking out, and he notes that the railing isn't broken, so Kat MUST have been pushed. Nik calls 911. Laura tells Stefan everything about the medical report. He is not pleased that she didn't tell him sooner, but it becomes clear that he believes her on all points. There's a big deal about Leslie taking Lulu and Liz home…I must have zoned out for a bit, 'cuz Liz was outside consoling Nik later in the episode. Nik has a long goodbye with Kat until Tagert shows up to invesitgate.

Carly and Jason meet on the docks and chat while she waits for her cab. Nothing too interesting to report here.

Jax surprises Bobbie at Kelly's and between making out and her closing up. He tells her that he has the perfect honeymoon planned….drum roll please….c'mon you can guess…..yep, Hawaii! Bobbie tells him that she had plans to go there once before that fell through and she doesn't want to go there. He accepts it at face value.

Ray is wandering and remembering. Another flashback, I couldn't really figure out if it was his or Bobbies, but it was him on the ground, shot in the shoulder, while Bobbie was over him crying and Luke was pulling her away. They tried to cut in the new actor with the old footage--the pink ruffled tuxedo shirt was TOO funny!

Anyhow, that's it for today!
