General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 6-Oct-1999

Mac enters his office and finds Felicia asleep there on the couch. She wakes up and says she's been waiting for him. He wants to know if she wants to tell him about her latest adventure. Mac tells Felicia that his surveillance team told him that Faison went to Texas so he followed him there. When Faison disappeared at the Mexican border, Mac contacted Mexican authorities. Faison was never found. Taggert interrupts them. Someone is there who wants to register a complaint. The person insists on talking to the commsisioner. In walks Faison with a smug look on his face. After Mac says something about wanting to put him behind bars again, Faison taunts Felicia by mentioning the desert and how her face must be red from being in the sun. After Faison leaves, Mac tells Felicia that he wonders what that little visit was all about. He knows Faison wasn't there to report a crime. Mac says he realizes that Faison is still trying to use his wife to work against him, just like he did with Robert and Anna. There is a difference though. Robert and Anna kept secrets from each other. Mac knows they have no secrets. Felicia looks guilty and sad. Felicia wants for them to forget about Faison and concentrate on "them." She gets very emotional and tells Mac how much she loves and needs him. He is so important in her life.

At the Q's, Chloe is sketching a new design for little girls, with Brooke Lynn in mind. Emily goes out on the terrace to bring food to Juan. Jax calls Chloe on her cell phone. He is at the stables and wants her to come for a ride with him. Monica comes in and wants to go out on the terrace. Chloe attempts to detain her by saying there's a call for her. Monica is perplexed. Why would someone call her on Chloe's cell phone? Chloe says it's Jax. Jax is stumped at first about what to talk about. Finally, he asks her about what to buy Bobbie and Jerry for the wedding. Chloe signals to Emily and Juan to hide. When Monica leaves, Emily and Juan come back onto the terrace. They talk about hiding from Sorel like Sonny and Jason told them. Later, Monica calls Emily into the den. Mr. Santiago is there. He wants to know if Emily knows where Juan is. She tells him that Juan loves him and doesn't want him to worry. Emily leaves the room, but outside, she listens to Mr. Santiago say he will take Juan back to Puerto Rico when he finds him. Juan and Emily meet out on the terrace. Emily says she feels sorry for Mr. Santiago.

At Kelly's, Bobbie is pouring over her bookkeeping, but can't concentrate. She tells Jason that today would have been BJ's 13th birthday. The years haven't made it any easier to deal with. Outside, Nik and Katherine ask Elizabeth to join them. Katherine tells Elizabeth that Nik is happy that she accepted their invitation. She is hoping that this could be a new beginning for them. Katherine and Nikolas give Elizabeth her invitation. Elizabeth tells Nik she'll do anything to support him. Inside, Jason does Bobbie's books for her. Bobbie tells him how Monica and Alan had dreams of him being a doctor. If Edward had known how good he was with numbers, he would have wanted him at ELQ. Jason asks questions about Jason Q, referring to him as "him." Bobbie tells him about BJ dreaming of being a ballerina. When Bobbie tells Jason about her engagement to Jerry, he sighs and shrugs. She says she knows they don't get along, but hopes things will change. Jason doesn't think that will happen, but wishes her luck and leaves. Katherine tells Elizabeth that Nik is going to be a wonderful father and she hopes that Elizabeth will be a part of their lives. Katherine and Nikolas leave to get their marriage license. Tony visits Bobbie. He just came from the cemetery where he saw Bobbie's flowers. He can't stop thinking of BJ. Bobbie says she'll always treasure the family they had together. Tony explains how he goes through the same tradition every year on BJ's birthday. He buys flowers at the same place, parks in the same lot, tells her he misses her and loves her. This year, however, one thing was different. He wasn't angry. He tells Bobbie that he used to resent her for apparently not taking BJ's death so hard. He would sometimes think she didn't care as much, but deep down he knew she did. He wishes that he could have followed her lead and acted like she did. He regrets letting the past consume him. Tears stream down both their faces. Jerry comes in. Tony tells him that he's marrying a very special woman. They shake hands. Tony wishes Jerry luck. Jerry tells Bobbie that he didn't know it was BJ's birthday or he would have been there earlier. They hug.

Chloe meets Jax at the stables. They do some smooching and Jax talks about his concern for Jerry's future.

Jason is walking on the docks. He sees AJ showing Michael the sea crane. He overhears AJ tell Michael that one day he'll give him ELQ and one day Carly will realize that she loves her husband more than she's ever loved any other man. AJ picks up Michael's toy motorcycle and hands it to him. Liz comes along and first sees AJ with Michael and then sees Jason watching them. AJ and Michael leave. Jason goes to pick up Michael's cap that was left behind. Elizabeth goes to him and asks if he's ok. Jason answers no. Elizabeth tells him that she watched him and he looked so upset. Jason explains that he gave up Michael so that Michael wouldn't see him angry. Jason tells Elizabeth about Carly and Robin. He's not mad at Robin any more. He thinks Carly has acted out of love for him. Jason and Liz go for a bike ride.
