General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 14-Sep-1999

Jeez, I really know how to pick which days to update, don’t I? *grin*

Today, TPTB cashed in on Ricky Martin’s success…did they pay him to come back? NO! They played an old video he made back in like 1993…I have to admit the hair was kind of fun…and seeing Brenda again was cool. (I remember when they made this video…showing how long I’ve watched, I suppose…) The song was “Don’t Stop Now”.

Juan dropped by to visit Ned on his way out of town to hear more about his father, Miguel Morez (Ricky Martin). Juan asked who was dancing with Miguel, and Ned dodged telling him about Brenda, saying she used to work with L&B (not telling him that she was the B.) Juan asked if Miguel loved Lily, and Ned said yes.

Hannah came by to tell Sonny that the arraignment was a joke. She talked about how this didn’t seem fair; he should be out on bail while they are building their case. She offered to do anything to help him, and he gave her a big speech on trust. On her way out the door, she bumped into Juan and rudely told him he should leave Sonny alone today.

Juan was dropping in to say that he was going back to Puerto Rico. Sonny tries to chew out Juan about having a good life with his parents, and giving them a chance. Juan told Sonny about seeing the video with Miguel and Brenda. He asked if Sonny knew about the woman in the video, who looked a little like Hannah. Sonny tried to change the subject, told Juan it was none of his business. Juan said, “You still hate me.” Sonny told him the best thing he could do was to go home, and Juan stormed out.

Chloe dropped by the hospital to check on Jax, etc… Chloe also had a cute talk with Brooke Lynn on the phone about painting their fingernails purple with glitter. Jax is having a tough time with Jerry being sick, and he revealed it was the one-year anniversary of Brenda’s death too. They recapped how Brenda died and how much Jax missed her.

Carly confronts Hannah in front of Kelly’s, calling her a slut and provoking her. Hannah starts to shove her, and Jason walks up. Jason tells her to leave Carly alone and totally takes Carly’s side. (Not a wise move politically, IMNSHO!) Carly whines that everything she touches gets ruined. Jason tries to comfort her.

Jax goes into Jerry’s room and talks to him. Telling him how important Jerry was to him, and how he regretted not forgiving him sooner for the laundering money. He thanked Jerry for always being able to count on him, and begged him not to leave him alone. I cried. These brothers love each other so much!

Back to Kelly’s, Carly and Jason talk about how Carly doesn’t really tell or show Bobbie how much she loves her. They rehash that Carly thinks Jason shouldn’t trust Hannah.

Off to the Gatehouse next, Ned is re-watching the video, talking to Brenda telling her that she would be so proud to see Brooke. Chloe arrives bearing the nail polish, and Chloe realizes that Ned is missing Brenda too and comforts him.

Carly goes by the hospital to check on Bobbie and bring her lunch. They have a sweet talk, where Carly tells her she loves her. Cut to Jax still talking to Jerry. Jerry wakes up, Jax screams for Bobbie, who leaves Carly in the middle of their heart-to-heart, looking a little put off.

Jason and Sonny talk about Brenda.

Hannah gets back to her room at Kelly’s, looks at her lock box, gets her gun from the desk, then looks at a picture of Sonny….not like she’s going to kill herself or anything, just picked up her gun and then looked at the picture, I can’t speculate what was going on in her head…sorry.

Tomorrow on GH:
Ned tells Em that Juan left yesterday.
Jax tells Alexis that there’s money in one of Jerry’s bank accounts that shouldn’t be there.
Nik tells Liz he invited Katherine over.
Katherine asks about the possibility of a surrogate.
