General Hospital Update for Friday, 10-Sep-1999

The show opens with Jax bringing Chloe some dish from Hong Kong. They eat it and open the fortune cookies. Chloe's says that good things come to those who wait. Jax's supposedly has instructions to lean in for a kiss. Just before the kiss, Ned walks in and has Brooke Lynn with him. Chloe hits it off with Brooke Lynn and they go up to her room. Alexis comes by later and Brooke Lynn doesn't seem to like her. Ned explains that Lois had a problem with Miguel and her parents had a cruise and that's why he has Brooke Lynn.

Luke invites Bobbie to breakfast and tells her that if anything strange happens to come right to him because Faison likes to toy with women. Bobbie tells him to be careful and asks him if he likes it that Felicia was worried about him. He blows it off and says it's nice to have friends. Bobbie goes to sit with Jerry.

Jerry wakes up and asks if Bobbie is his escort to heaven. He tells her that it took him eons to get to this point and asks her to marry him. She starts talking about how drugs can have effects on a person and that she won't be able to hold him to this tomorrow. He says he knows what he's doing and asks her again, "be my wife, Bobbie." She says yes and then he starts going into a seizure while Bobbie freaks out.

Hannah is visiting Sonny and telling him about this spa thing that she's got booked. He doesn't want to go to a toe nail painting place, but she describes a massage and a sunset at a pagoda and he's really warming up to the idea when Alexis walks in with the bad news that Sonny has to stay there until Tuesday when there will be a hearing and the Feds will have to lay down their hand.

Jason also comes to visit Sonny and tells him that everything is in its place that the Feds can't have anything. Sonny confides that he's going nuts in there and needs to get out.

Jason met with Carly and she tells him that Hannah had a gun. He begs her to drop it, and she says that she heard him with a funny smile on her face. She goes inside Kelly's and takes the keys out of the cash register like she's going into Hannah's room again. A.J. comes in and asks her what she's doing and that they've been invited to some dinner with a Saunders guy that was charmed by his wife. She puts the keys away and says, "Later."

Hannah storms into the Feds office and asks why they blew her bust. SURPRISE! she's an agent.

Faison meets with Felicia and asks her to give Luke a message. Luke shows up and tells him to give it himself. He threatens Luke that if he doesn't get his merchandise he's going to take something away from Luke that is valuable to him.

Katharine meets up with Stefan and tries to manipulate him and Nik shows up and Stefan is so disgusted with Katharine asking him if he wants a boy or a girl, but oh, well it doesn't matter since either one will be the Cassadine heir. Stefan finally leaves. Nik invites Katharine to lunch and Katharine asks if they can be this way again. Nik says he thinks they can be good parents and Kat says that's all that matters.

I must say that this was one of the most exciting shows I've seen in a while. Until next week . . .
