General Hospital Update for Friday, 27-Aug-1999

Liz gets into trouble at Jake's when the man she's flirting with forces her to dance and tries to force her outside. Jason comes to the rescue and Liz rejects his help. He realizes she is hurting and gets her to open up about her feelings. She talks about wanting Lucky's baby and how she could have had it, if she hadn't been so scared. Jason tells her he lives in nothingness too and they seem to bond.

Ned sees Alexis outside the gatehouse and they are kissing, etc. and Jax comes to tell them that his parents are in town and he needs Alexis. Ned protests, but she promises to come back as soon as possible. Ned goes in to pop the champagne and the cork leads him to the video surveillance camera. He meets Chloe outside and tells her about it. They agree to put on the performance of their lives for Edward. Ned even asks Chloe how his breath is, so she doesn't have to suffer through it. They go inside and act as if they are about to make love, lots of kissing etc. They go outside after saying they are moving the fireworks to the suite to "christen" it. Outside, Chloe sighs and tells Ned that if anyone ever asks what Alexis sees in him to just ask her.

Lila overhears Edward and the video surveillance guy. When he comes back to give the video, Lila intercepts it and gives it to Reginald to give to Ned. He goes to the gatehouse and finds Alexis waiting for Ned. He gives the video to her and she watches it, with a horrified look on her face.

Stefan offers Nikolas a job managing the estate and Nikolas turns it down. Katharine is on the phone asking what exertion would be since the fertilized eggs were just implanted into her. She also talks to the baby 'spending the first night inside her.'

Juan asks Sonny more about his mother, if Sonny is sorry etc. Sonny says that he's not going to sit there and cry tears that are too late. Sonny asks if Juan understands why he doesn't want him around at all. Juan asks if he can go and Sonny asks where he can drive him. Juan justs walks away. Emily comforts Juan outside of Kelly's. At the penthouse Hannah tells Sonny that she loves him and she will be there when he needs her. He asks her not to go home that night or the next night or the next. They also showed a mysterious FBI guy with a folder with pictures of Sonny saying now's the time to move on him. Not much else happened today. Until next week. . .
