General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 25-Aug-1999

Hey! This is the first time I'm doing this, so I'm gonna group today's episode by storylines, kinda. Here goes nothing:

Sonny and Hannah were on the island. Sonny started to open up to Hannah about Mike. Hannah then tried to convince Sonny to talk to Juan about Lily and why Sonny acts the way he does towards him. Sonny decided to take a shot doing this, and they decided to leave tomorrow. Later, Hannah went to Sonny's casino as a surprise from him, and won $10,000, then realized it was because Sonny had signaled the dealer so she would win.

Felicia went to Sonny's penthouse to ask for his help to find Luke. Jason was there and told her that Sonny was away. Felicia then told Jason that he needed to find Luke because he may be in trouble with Cesar Fasion. Jason asked if Robin was ok when he remembered that Fasion had killed her parents. Soon after, Mac barged in on Felicia and Jason talking, and Felicia said that she was there to tell Jason Robin was ok, even though that wasn't the truth. Mac then said that he would charge Jason with unsolved crimes if he and Sonny were working with Fasion, when Jason said he didn't know where Sonny was. After Felicia and Mac left, Jason called Benny and had him check Fasion's contact in PC and try to find Luke.

Outside the penthouse, Felicia broke through to Mac, saying that he was out of control with the Fasion case. Later, outside Kelly's, Felicia asked Taggert to try and get Mac to calm down.

Katherine talked to Tony about Helena's condition, which hasn't changed. She then ran into Nikolas, telling him she had a Drs. appt., keeping up with her lie. Katherine later visited Helena and told her that she had lied to her and was GOING to be pregnant with Nikolas' child, hoping for a reconciliation between them. Helena almost had a disapproving look on her face.

Monica and Alan tell Emily that they have decided to allow her to see Juan, with 4 rules - 12:00 pm curfew, No visiting Sonny, They have to know where and with whom she is, and if she's in danger, she has to call them. Emily was overwhelmed and looked for Juan. A little while later, Emily told him about her parents decision. They then ran into Nikolas and Liz (who was counseling him on his situation with Katherine), and then four of them decided to go see Morley at
Jakes. At Jakes, Juan goes over to Jason to thank him for talking to Monica, and it ends up with Juan being rude and Jason leaving.

The episode ends with a collage of couples together - Husband & pregnant wife, Jason and Carly flashback, Juan and Emily, and Nikolas and Liz alone, with Liz longing to be with Lucky - while Morley was singing a song about love.
