Monday...
-- Jax learns that all of Chloe's business and tradename revert to her uncle's estate should she not be happily married by a certain date. Chloe explains that her uncle's motives for his will are a balanced life. Also, her uncle's widow, Gertrude, has a new husband (an aspiring, but terrible, designer) and Gertrude wants to give Chloe's company to him as a gift. So Ned suggests that Chloe go ahead and get married for the required year. Chloe makes a list of possible husbands: Simon (but he's in love with V), the Italian Water Polo Team (but they're Italian), George Clooney (Ned, Jax, and Alexis look at her like she's crazy). She confesses she never thought this day would actually happen.

-- Sonny gives Juan his mother's necklace back and asks why Juan was looking for him. Sonny confirms with Juan that his adoptive mother died a year ago, and his stepmother makes him feel in the way. Juan wants Sonny to give him a job, Sonny says no, and Juan says "you owe me that". Sonny refuses the job but will give Juan money or arrange for school. Juan wants independence, not money or school. Sonny asks "why me?" Juan has read about Sonny in the newspaper and wants to be respected like he believes Sonny is. Sonny wants better for Juan than his life: no job, but money is offered. Juan walks out, refusing Sonny's help. Juan goes down to the docks and retrieves three wallets he has stolen so far. Emily shows up and they discuss Juan's meeting with Sonny. We are reminded that Juan believes Sonny is his father, but tells Emily that he did not confirm that with Sonny. Juan says he will prove himself to Sonny, and then Sonny will be proud to acknowledge Juan as his son. Back at the penthouse, Hannah shows up with a first aid kit for Juan's eye. Sonny tells Hannah about the visit, how he will help Juan any way he can except for the job Juan wants. He wants Juan to have the better life that Sonny didn't choose. Sonny plans to take Juan back to Puerto Rico and talk personally with his family. He knows Juan won't want to go, but will force him if necessary, showing Juan that Sonny is not who Juan thinks he is. As long as Lily's son is safe. Hannah knows Sonny is worried. Kiss, Kiss.

-- Jason is initially non-committal about Carly's news. Carly wants more from Jason about his feelings. Jason - "Why now?" Carly discovers that Jason came by to check on her that night as saw her with AJ. Carly still wants Jason to stop her from being with AJ. She says that after the fiasco of the Nurses Ball, she just wanted some comfort, but once the deed was done, that was all it felt like, not like it would be with Jason. Jason says Carly doesn't need his opinion, "What do you want from me?!" She wants to keep her friend. They have the usual agreement about goals and methods. Jason says the only way to fix things is to just get out now. Carly says it's gone to far. Carly stumbles on her way out, Jason catches her: she's crying, they hold each other, touch each other's face, but Jason ends up pulling away and gently sending Carly home. Later, we see Jason remembering himself comforting Carly at the Nurses Ball, and we see Carly sitting sadly in a garden somewhere.

-- Felicia and Luke discuss the discrepancies in the postmarks between the burned letter and the other letters. They also notice that they are from bases belonging to two different branches of the military. Then Luke notices that the handwriting is the same on all of the letters, which means that they were all written by Edward. Felicia reviews that Lila had an arranged engagement to Elliott, but then fell in love with Edward. Maybe Edward visited Elliott at the Army base before joining the Navy? Felicia notices that all of Edward's photos are him in his Navy uniform, and Luke explains that a uniform in those days opened many doors. Felicia then finds one photo of Edward and Elliot together, with Edward in civilian clothes. Could they have been friends? Felicia is upset that Lila is hiding something, but what could it possibly be? Luke suggests another trip to Oyster Bay.

-- As we see Laura kneeling over Helena, Stephan tells her to leave, but Bobbie walks in, calls for a doctor. Laura tells them that Helena's eyes rolled back and she fell, hitting her head on the corner of the desk, with the lamp falling after her. She assures Stephan that she didn't do anything! Later, Bobbie finds Laura and Stephan in the hall. She tells them that Helena's condition is still unknown. Mac shows up at Stephan's request, so that he could have the true story before the press twists things. Laura tells Mac her story, about how they were fighting, but that suddenly Helena passed out hitting her head on the way down. Mac tells her not to worry, yet. Again, Bobbie shows up with the news that Helena is stable, but there is no diagnosis yet. It may be a recurrence of some illness she had years ago, based on info Stephan supplied. Mac asks about toxicology reports, but Bobbie tells them that while there is no overt evidence, the reports aren't in yet. It will be a wait and see prognosis, though. Stephan asks Mac to take Laura home, stating that he wants to see his mother.
