General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 18-May-1999

It is the 5th anniversary of B.J.'s death and Bobbie and Felicia are mourning together at Kelly's. Felicia tries to convince Bobbie that Lucas needs to see his father today, but Bobbie is still upset over his testimony in the custody trial. Later in the day, Bobbie leaves Lucas at Kelly's with Tammy. Tony comes in and talks with Lucas about B.J. Lucas tells Tony about finding Bobbie and Jerry in bed together.

Tony also visits Laura and they try and comfort one another over the loss of their children. After Tony leaves, Stefan arrives and tries to convince Laura that she is not responsible for Lucky's death, nor Trippers[the young runaway she tried(once)to help]Later, Laura finds Stefan having pretend tea with Lesley Lu. She is able to join them.

Mike goes to Jason to try and convince him that Sonny sees Hannah as a cross between Brenda and Lily and that he is headed for trouble. Later, Mike goes to Luke's where Sonny is covering for Luke and connecting with Hannah. Mike pushes Sonny to anger with his interference. Sonny later leaves the club, and the audience sees that someone is again watching Sonny with binoculars.

Felicia and Mac do the kissy kissy thing, making nice all over the place. They briefly discuss Edward, but it is only rehash.

A.J. suprises Carly by asking her to move up the wedding. He wants to be married at the mansion in a week. Carly is suspicious of his motives, but he tells her that he only wants (come on..everybody say it)WHAT'S BEST FOR MICHAEL! Carly tells him she still has a problem with the prenuptial agreement, A.J. tells her not to worry, he will handle Edward. Carly finally agrees to move up the wedding. Later Jason arrives to pick up Michael. He offers to help A.J. get close to Michael because (do I have to say it?) HE ONLY WANTS WHAT'S BEST FOR MICHAEL.
A.J wants no part of Jason's help.

Jason expects Letitia to go with him and Michael, but Reginald interceeds on her behalf. He explains that she needs to have regular days off, and would like to take those days when Jason takes Michael. He also explains that she would like to take those days off at the mansion. Jason congratulates Reginald on what appears to be a budding romance.
