Mike arrives at Sonny's penthouse and is worried that there is no bodyguard at the door. Sonny explains that Johnny was taking someone home. Mike grins and asks "someone female?" Mike notices the dessert buffet and starts fishing for information about who was there. He says he's glad that Sonny is seeing someone again, but Sonny doesn't want to share his private life with Mike. After he has cleaned up the place and he is all alone, Sonny looks dreamily out the window. Then we see Sonny from outside, seemingly through binoculars, as if someone is watching him.

Hannah tells strange man outside Kelly's that she told him to leave her alone and goes inside the diner. She tells Tammy about her evening - the dessert buffet, the passionate breathtaking kisses, and how she walked away from it all. Tammy assumes the man is Sonny since she has seen the sparks between the two of them. She tells Hannah that she has known Sonny since she danced for him at the Paradise Lounge. Hannah wants to know if she can trust him and Tammy says that's for her to decide. Later, Mike stops by and tells Tammy how happy he is that Sonny has found someone but he doesn't know who she is yet. Hannah comes downstairs, interrupts, and Mike can't stop staring at her. Tammy introduces them. Mike realizes that she was Sonny's date and they go to a table. He tells her that she looks enough like Brenda to make a relationship with Sonny complicated. When Tammy closes the diner, she and Hannah have a talk about Mike and Sonny. Hannah wants to know how close they are. Tammy thinks Mike knows Sonny better than anyone does. She tells Hannah that, according to Mike, their "date" tonight was a success.

Lucas asks Bobbie why Jerry is in bed with her. She says she'll explain later and asks him to wait outside the door. Jerry comes up with several silly explanations they could give as to why they were naked together in bed, but Bobbie wants to just tell Lucas the truth. Jerry wants to be with her to explain but Bobbie insists on a one-on-one with her son. Lucas wants to know if Jerry is going to be his new daddy. Bobbie isn't ready for Lucas to have a new daddy, but she says she has special feelings for Jerry. Lucas asks if they made love. Bobbie says that different people think making love is different things. Lucas thinks it's when people get naked and kiss under the sheets. Bobbie says they were making love. Lucas is grossed out and wants a snack. Bobbie is relieved.

Liz sees Luke alone on the docks and asks to join him. She tells him why the token necklace is significant and shows him the ring Lucky gave her. She gets sentimental and Luke wishes he could tell her the pain will be over but they both realize that Lucky wouldn't want them to think the past was the best part of their lives. Luke drives Liz home and they talk about the day Lucky found about Luke and Laura's past. Luke thanks Liz for helping Lucky, but she reminds him that it was Lucky who helped her. Luke says he'll always be there for her. Luke thinks that although Lucky had a short life, he had learned more than most people. He thanks Liz for making Lucky happy. She says Lucky made her happier.

Lucky is drawing a diagram and hides it when Faison comes in but Faison reminds him that he can't hide anything. Faison challenges Lucky to a game of chess. He says he'll answer any of Lucky's questions if Lucky can beat him. Lucky says that chess is not his game. Faison tells him that if he wants information he'll try to play. At the end of the show, we see Faison winning his second game. Lucky says if they play poker, he'll win. Faison knows, that's why they are playing chess. When Faison leaves, Lucky goes on the computer to learn how to play chess.

As the train gets closer and Laura is frozen with fear, Stefan grabs her and pulls her to safety. He tells her that he went to look for her at the boxcar (how does he know about the boxcar?) and saw her things there and came to look for her. They go back to Laura's house where Lesley notices that Laura appears to have hurt her shoulder. Laura is evasive when Lesley asks her questions about the evening and goes to see Lulu. Lesley wants the truth from Stefan but he doesn't offer much, saying he found her near the boxcar. He tells Lesley that he loves Laura. Lesley doesn't think she can ever forget what Stefan did. He tries to assure her that if he had the chance, he'd do things differently. Lesley wants to know if Stefan visited her at the hospital and he answers "occasionally." Later, as Stefan holds an ice pack on Laura's hurt shoulder, she tells him what happened to her in the boxcar - how she tried to imagine what Lucky's life was like there, and then how she imagined what his future could have been like. She asks Stefan if he believes that she wasn't putting her life at risk on the railroad tracks. He answers that he knows she was lost in grief.

Jerry meets Jax on the docks. He thinks he may have messed up Lucas' life. Jax doesn't take Jerry seriously, seems to think he's overreacting. Jerry says he's beginning to feel like a husband and a father and doesn't like it. He thinks maybe he should leave town. As Jerry continues to moan about how wrong Bobbie and her lifestyle is for him, Jax becomes more and more amused. Jerry tells him that he was about to tell Bobbie he loved her when Lucas walked in. Jax can't believe he hadn't told her already.
