General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 5-May-1999

Felicia is with Chloe at fashion show in London. They are waiting for Lila's letters to arrive from Milan. They clearly like each other and are headed for a friendship. Chloe tells Felicia how much she has enjoyed those letters over the years. She even designed her first dress with Lila in mind. After the show, the letters arrive. As Felicia reads one aloud, Chloe recites from memory along with her.

In a restaurant, Alexis talks first with Tony and then with Jason about the custody trial. Alexis explains to Jason that her only choice is to go after Carly. Jason doesn't like it. Alexis doesn't understand why Jason wants to protect Carly.

At the coffee warehouse, one of Moreno's men calls Moreno for instructions.

At Kelly's, Bobbie tells Sonny that Hannah has moved in upstairs and Sonny smiles that sexy to-die-for smile when he sees Hannah come down to the diner. They flirt with each other and Sonny invites her to see his coffee warehouse. They leave and Jerry comes in. Bobbie needs her refrigerator fixed and Jerry tries his hand at it. They start kissing and wind up on the floor. Tony comes in, unnoticed, and sees them. They go to an empty room upstairs to make love.

Ned and Jax discuss Kat's ELQ stock. Ned doesn't believe that Jax has really given up on the Cassadine empire. Ned tells him about AJ's deal with Edward - that he'll become CEO if he has custody of Michael. Jax is amazed and thinks that is as low as one can go. They decide to be allies and vote together at ELQ.

Sonny and Hannah finish the tour at the warehouse and they exchange facts about their past. She says she is an only child, born in California. Hannah is almost hit by a worker in the warehouse driving one of those machines that moves large things (can't think of name). He swerves to avoid her and hits a sack of coffee beans instead. It rips open, beans pour out and we see a plastic bag with drugs in it. Jason arrives and Sonny asks him to supervise clean-up. Jason notices bag in coffee beans. He tells remaining workers to go help on the loading dock and puts bag inside his jacket, just as police arrive at door. He hides.

Alexis tells Jax that she has definitely given up on staking a claim on the Cassadine fortune. She leaves when Ned sees Kat arrive and wants to talk to her. Ned and Kat exchange barbs and Ned promises her that in 6 months Deception will be a failure.

On the docks, Sonny tells Hannah that Jason is having rough times fighting for custody of Michael. Hannah asks who the mother is. Sonny tells her Carly. Hannah mistakenly assumes that Jason and Carly were married. Sonny and Hannah make a dinner date for next week.
