General Hospital Update for Friday, 30-Apr-1999

Luke and Tami discuss the their one night stand, Luke's marriage and the loss of Lucky. When Tami decides to retire for the evening she accepts Luke's offer for a ride home.
Stephan and a still shaken Laura are having dinner when thay are approached by Jax who reveals to Stephan that after nearly being killed by Helena that he will no longer be pursuing the Casadine riches. Upon hearing of Jax's brush with death a paranoid Laura begins to blame Helena for Lucky's death. Stephan assures her that the fire was not Helena's doing and realizing that Luke would kill Helena if she had anything to do with the fire Laura calms down.
Later Jax and Jerry toast to having taken the first step in letting Stephan think they are out of the race for the Casadine money when in fact they are going after it full force.
Felicia arrives at the suite of Lila's distant relative Cloe Morgan, where she exchanges her shoes for five minutes of Cloe's time to try and find out if she has Lila's long lost love letters.
Alan finds AJ planning a surprise for Carly. They go on to have a father son talk about Alan's experience with surviving his and Monica's deceitful marriage.
Meanwhile at Jason's penthouse Carly and her bra fail at an attempt to get Jason in bed. Jason admits to Carly that although sex would be nice it will have a negative affect on the Michael situation. Sonny and Hannah share a very extended kiss outside Lukes. But before Sonny makes it to second base Hannah pulls away hailing too much too fast. Sonny tells her he's not looking for any gaurantees and has Johnny drive her home. Later while Sonny and Jason are heading for a meeting with Marino AJ shocks Carly with a candlelit room and an engagement ring.
Finally Phaison and Lucky come face to face. Phaison tells Lucky how he managed to make everyone think he is dead and that Luke in no way suspects him. He then threatens to hurt Liz if Lucky does not cooperate. All the while a greiving Liz and Nikolas receive her art school entries including Lucky's portrait and an envelope which will reveal whether or not the school has excepted her.
